Thus is this Dharma taught: Whatever is beyond form is not form. Whatever is beyond feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness is not consciousness. Whatever is beyond the aggregates, the elements, the sense bases, and dependent origination is not the aggregates, the elements, the sense bases, and dependent origination. Whatever is beyond all perfections is not the perfections. Whatever is beyond all emptiness is not emptiness. Whatever is beyond the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment is not the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. Similarly, whatever is beyond the noble truths, the immeasurables, the meditations, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, clairvoyance, the ten powers, fearlessness, the individual knowledges, and the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha is not the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha. Whatever is beyond all aspects of omniscience is not all aspects of omniscience. Subhuti, just as form is, so are all dharmas. Likewise, even up to all aspects of omniscience. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, if just as form is, so are all dharmas, then the bodhisattva mahasattva should manifestly awaken to all aspects of omniscience. Why is that? Blessed One, because in the beyond of form there is no conceptualization whatsoever. In the beyond of feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness there is no conceptualization whatsoever. In the beyond of clairvoyance, the ten powers, fearlessness, the individual knowledges, and the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha there is no conceptualization whatsoever. Because in the beyond of all aspects of omniscience there is no conceptualization whatsoever. Here

This is form. This is feeling. This is perception. This is formations. This is consciousness. These are the aggregates. These are the elements. These are the sources. These are the dependent originations. These are the limbs of dependent origination. These are the perfections. These are the emptinesses. These are the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. These are the noble truths. These are the superknowledges. These are the immeasurables, the concentrations, and the formless attainments. These are the liberations, the samadhis, and the doors of dharani. These are emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. These are the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the analytical knowledges, and the unique qualities of a Buddha. This refers to the omniscience itself, because there is no conceptualization whatsoever. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is so, it is so. Because beyond form there is no conceptualization whatsoever. Beyond feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness there is no conceptualization whatsoever. Likewise, beyond the aggregates, the elements, the sources, the dependent origination, and the limbs of dependent origination there is no conceptualization whatsoever. Beyond the perfections, all the emptinesses, the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, the immeasurables, the concentrations, and the formless attainments there is no conceptualization whatsoever. Beyond the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the analytical knowledges, and the unique qualities of a Buddha there is no conceptualization whatsoever. Even up to the omniscience itself, there is no conceptualization whatsoever. Even so, Subhuti, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, without conceptualizing these such dharmas and without being discouraged, will thus realize these dharmas and attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment.

Thinking that after attaining complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha, one should teach such peaceful and such excellent Dharma is a difficult task. Subhuti, thus, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, after attaining complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha, becomes a friend to the beings of the world, which is the act of a friend. Subhuti, how does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, after attaining complete enlightenment and becoming a Buddha, become an island for the world? Subhuti, for example, the great rivers, or the great oceans, or any place that is completely cut off by water, are called islands. Subhuti, likewise, form is that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. Subhuti, likewise, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. Likewise, the aggregates, elements, sources, dependent origination, and the branches of dependent origination are that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. Likewise, the perfection of generosity is that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. Likewise, the perfections of morality, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom are that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. Inner emptiness is that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. Outer emptiness is that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. Inner and outer emptiness is that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. The emptiness of the nature of non-things is that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. The thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. The immeasurables, meditations, and formless attainments are that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. The noble truths are that which has completely cut off the former limit and the latter limit. Various
