Therefore, all dharmas are inconceivable, unequal, immeasurable, countless, unequal and equal. Subhuti, these Tathagata dharmas are inconceivable because they are free from thought. They are unequal because they are free from equality. They are immeasurable because they are free from measure. They are countless because they are free from number. They are unequal and equal because they are free from equality and inequality. Subhuti, therefore, all dharmas are inconceivable, unequal, immeasurable, countless, unequal and equal. Subhuti, those Tathagata dharmas are inconceivable because they are completely beyond thought. They are unequal because they are completely beyond equality. They are immeasurable because they are completely beyond measure. They are countless because they are completely beyond number. They are unequal and equal because they are completely beyond equality and inequality. Subhuti, the so-called inconceivable is an inconceivable term. Subhuti, the so-called unequal is an inestimable term. Subhuti, the so-called immeasurable is an immeasurable term. Subhuti, the so-called countless is an innumerable term. Subhuti, the so-called unequal and equal is a term without equality and inequality. Subhuti, these Tathagata dharmas are inconceivable, unequal, immeasurable, countless, unequal and equal. Subhuti, the so-called inconceivable is because space is inconceivable. Similarly, the so-called unequal, the so-called immeasurable, the so-called countless, and the so-called unequal and equal are because space is unequal and equal. Subhuti, those Tathagata dharmas are inconceivable, unequal, immeasurable, countless, unequal and equal. Those are the thoughts of the world, including all Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and the gods, or equality, or measure, or number, or equality and inequality cannot be done, therefore, the Buddha is immeasurable. The Buddha's dharmas are measurable

There is not. Thus, when the Blessed One taught this chapter on the Inconceivable, the Unequal, the Immeasurable, the Immeasurable, the Countless, the Unequal, and the Equal, five hundred monks, without taking ordination, had their minds completely liberated from the defilements. Two hundred thousand nuns, without taking ordination, had their minds completely liberated from the defilements. Sixty thousand laymen and twenty thousand laywomen, with respect to phenomena, were purified of the eye of the Dharma, free from dust and free from stain. Twenty thousand Bodhisattvas obtained tolerance of non-arising phenomena. The Blessed One prophesied of them, saying, 'They will become Buddhas in this Fortunate Aeon.' This is known as the four moments of suffering, beginning with the Inconceivable. Then, the venerable Subhuti said this to the Blessed One: 'Blessed One, this Perfection of Wisdom is profound! Blessed One, this Perfection of Wisdom is closely associated with great activity! Blessed One, this Perfection of Wisdom is closely associated with immeasurable activity, unequal activity, unmeasurable activity, countless activity, and activity that is unequal and equal!' When he had said this, the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhuti: 'Subhuti, it is so, it is so. Subhuti, this Perfection of Wisdom is closely associated with great activity! Subhuti, this Perfection of Wisdom is closely associated with immeasurable activity, unequal activity, unmeasurable activity, countless activity, and activity that is unequal and equal! Why is that? Subhuti, this profound Perfection of Wisdom is perfectly endowed with the five perfections. Subhuti, this Perfection of Wisdom is perfectly endowed with inner emptiness. It is perfectly endowed with the interval of the emptiness of the nature of non-things. The four mindfulnesses, the four perfect abandonments, the four legs of manifestation, the five faculties, the five powers

etc., and are perfectly endowed with the seven branches of enlightenment, etc., and the Noble Eightfold Path. Subhuti, this profound Perfection of Wisdom is perfectly endowed with the four meditations, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, the four noble truths, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings in absorption, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the six superknowledges, the samadhis, and the doors of dharani. Subhuti, this Perfection of Wisdom is perfectly endowed with the ten powers of the Tathagata. The four fearlessnesses, the four individual perfect knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddhas are perfectly endowed. Subhuti, this Perfection of Wisdom is perfectly endowed with the Buddhadharma and is perfectly endowed up to the all-knowingness. Subhuti, just as, for example, a king, a king of the kshatriya caste, who has been empowered from the crown of his head, whatever becomes the work of a king who has obtained a kingdom, if all of these are endowed with ministers, then the king's work or the kingdom's work, the king will feel smaller than his own heart and will have unloaded the burden. Subhuti, similarly, whether it is the Dharma of the Hearers, or the Dharma of the Solitary Buddhas, or the Dharma of the Bodhisattvas, or the Dharma of the Buddhas, whatever it may be, if all of these are perfectly endowed with the Perfection of Wisdom, then the Perfection of Wisdom is what does these works. Subhuti, therefore, this Perfection of Wisdom abides closely with great works. This Perfection of Wisdom abides closely with inconceivable works, unequal works, immeasurable works, countless works, and unequal and equal works. Why is that? Subhuti, it is because this profound Perfection of Wisdom abides closely without grasping form and without manifest attachment. Without grasping feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, and without manifest attachment.
