I will show that there will be no separation from the superknowledges, all the samadhis, all the doors of dharani, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and even the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. I will also show the activities of the maras, and having heard those activities of the maras, they will not decrease or increase. Why is that? It is because those activities of the maras have no intrinsic nature. Until a bodhisattva is free from faults, he will not be separated from the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and they will also generate roots of virtue. Those roots of virtue will also completely uphold the lineage of the bodhisattva. And with that lineage of the bodhisattva, until the attainment of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, there will never be any separation. Furthermore, when a bodhisattva mahasattva newly enters the Great Vehicle, in the countless and immeasurable realms of the ten directions, there are Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones who abide, maintain, and teach the Dharma. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have cut off the path, cut off the entrance, cut off the elaboration and existence, exhausted tears, destroyed thorns, completely abandoned burdens, attained their own benefit, completely exhausted the connection to existence, and with perfect knowledge, their minds are completely liberated. Those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have reached the other shore of the supreme mastery of mind, together with the assembly of shravakas, accumulate merit and generate roots of virtue. Or the gods of Akanistha, or Sudarshana, or Sudrisha, or Akanishtha, etc., all those who have generated roots of virtue, having completely gathered and subdued them into one, and having measured them, rejoice. Excellent, sacred, the chief, the most excellent, the most supremely excellent, the unsurpassed rejoicing, rejoicing with rejoicing, and from rejoicing also possessing the roots of virtue with rejoicing, completely dedicate to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. This is called dedication without an object of focus. Maitreya said: Venerable Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who has newly entered the Mahayana, remembers and contemplates all the roots of virtue of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and the Sangha of the Hearers, and rejoices with great rejoicing, rejoices with unsurpassed rejoicing, and after rejoicing, dedicates it to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, how does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva not become inverted in perception? Not become inverted in mind? Not become inverted in view? Subhuti said: Maitreya, if the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not perceive the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and the Sangha of the Hearers as Buddhas, does not perceive them as Hearers, does not perceive them as roots of virtue, and does not perceive the mind with which he dedicates as a perception of mind, then for such a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who dedicates in this way, there is no inversion of perception, no inversion of mind, and no inversion of view. If the Bodhisattva Mahasattva remembers and contemplates the roots of virtue of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and grasps their characteristics with a mind that grasps at characteristics, and dedicates them to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, then such a dedication will lead to an inversion of perception, an inversion of mind, and an inversion of view.

If again, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with whatever mind truly contemplates those Buddhas, the Bhagavat and those roots of virtue, and knows that 'cessation is cessation' in this way, then that person is not able to dedicate. The very nature of the Dharma of the mind with which one dedicates is also like that, and the dedication there is also the nature of the Dharma. If one dedicates in that way, it is a true dedication, not a perversion. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva should dedicate in that way. If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, from the time the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present generated the first thought until they completely pass into Nirvana, and until the holy Dharma disappears, and those Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and the many ordinary beings, whatever roots of virtue they have accumulated, and whatever Dharma teachings they have heard, and in those, whatever roots of virtue the gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas have accumulated, and the great Sala of the royal lineage, or the great Sala of the Brahmin lineage, or the great Sala of the householder lineage, or the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, or the gods up to Akanistha, have heard the holy Dharma, and accumulated roots of virtue, and generated the mind for unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, having manifestly gathered all of those together, collected them into one, and contemplated them, having rejoiced with the action of rejoicing, and rejoicing is excellent, principal, supreme, topmost, outstanding, unsurpassed, incomparable, equal to the unequal, thus rejoicing, having rejoiced, dedicating all of those to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, and if one knows in this way that 'these dharmas are exhausted, ceased, non-existent, transformed, and the mind with which one dedicates is also empty of inherent existence,' if one dedicates in that way, it is dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. If one dedicates Dharma with Dharma in this way,
