Furthermore, they make offerings with flowers, incense, perfumes, garlands, unguents, powders, garments, umbrellas, victory banners, and flags. They treat it with respect, revere it, and venerate it. Thus, there will be no fear arising from anywhere. Blessed One, for example, a person who is the owner of wealth, fearing, relies on a king. Then, those things that he fears, by relying on that very king, he will no longer fear those things. Why is that? Blessed One, it is because he relies on one who is powerful, and thus there will be no fear. Blessed One, similarly, the relics of the Tathagata, having been fully accomplished by the Perfection of Wisdom, have thus obtained offerings. Blessed One, the Perfection of Wisdom is like a king; it should be regarded as such. One who has obtained offerings is like a person who relies on a king; it should be regarded as such. Thus, the relics of the Tathagata, having been fully accomplished by the Perfection of Wisdom, have obtained offerings. Blessed One, the wisdom of all aspects of omniscience should also be regarded as being fully accomplished by the Perfection of Wisdom. Blessed One, therefore, if a choice is to be made between these two, I would take this Perfection of Wisdom itself. Why is that? Because the relics of the Tathagata arise from this. Because the thirty-two marks of a great being arise from this. Because the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha arise from this. Because great love and great compassion arise from this. Because the five perfections have obtained the name of "perfection" from this. Because the Tathagata's very omniscience arises from this. Blessed One, in which realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system will sentient beings hold and keep this Perfection of Wisdom?

World-Honored One, this Prajnaparamita is closely associated with the Buddha's activities for all the beings in the three-thousand great-thousand world system! World-Honored One, in whatever world this Prajnaparamita is propagated, that world should be regarded as the place where a Buddha appears! World-Honored One, for example, suppose there is a priceless jewel, and this great jewel possesses the following qualities: wherever this great jewel is placed, non-humans will not be able to find an opportunity. Whichever man or woman is possessed by a non-human, if this great jewel is shown to them, merely showing this great jewel will cause the non-human to quickly depart because they cannot bear the brilliance of this great jewel. When this great jewel is worn on a body afflicted with bile disease, the bile disease will also disappear and will not increase, but will be pacified. When this great jewel is worn on a body afflicted with wind disease, the wind disease will also disappear. When this great jewel is worn on a body afflicted with phlegm disease, all the phlegm diseases will also disappear. When this great jewel is worn on a body afflicted with combined diseases, the combined diseases will be pacified and will not increase. At night, this great jewel will illuminate. In the hot season, wherever this great jewel is placed, it will make that place cool.

That land will become warm. Wherever that great jewel is placed, that place will not be too hot or too cold, and the seasons will be pleasant. Wherever that great jewel is placed in a place of concern, there will be no snakes or scorpions or other poisonous creatures roaming there. Chapter Thirty-Three. If someone is afflicted by snake venom, if that great jewel is shown to them, as soon as they see it, the venom will disappear. Blessed One, that great jewel possesses such qualities. If someone is afflicted by various diseases, if that great jewel is placed on their body, all of their diseases will be cured. Blessed One, whenever that great jewel is placed in water, at that time all the water will become like the color of gold. Blessed One, if that great jewel is wrapped in blue cloth and placed in water, the water will also become blue. If that great jewel is wrapped in yellow, red, pomegranate, or crystal-colored cloth and placed in water, the water will also become that color. If that great jewel is wrapped in cloth of various colors and placed in water, the water will also become various colors. Blessed One, if that great jewel is placed in murky water, all the water will become very clear. That great jewel possesses such qualities. Then, the Venerable Ananda said to Indra, the lord of the gods: Kauśika, what do you think? Is that great jewel a divine object? Or do the people of Jambudvipa also have that great jewel? Indra said: Venerable Ananda, that great jewel is a divine object. The great jewel that the people of Jambudvipa possess is small and heavy and cannot be compared to the divine jewel.
