We are not disrespectful, but respectful. It is not that we do not wish to fully embrace you, Blessed One, but if we make offerings, respect, and veneration to the Perfection of Wisdom, then we will also be making offerings to the relics of the Tathagata, respect, and veneration. Furthermore, Blessed One, in the immeasurable and countless realms of the ten directions, all those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones who dwell and teach the Dharma, should also be seen as the Dharmakaya and the Rupakaya, therefore, this Perfection of Wisdom should be embraced, held, prevented, fully understood, and offered to, and also widely and correctly taught to others, and properly contemplated. Whether it is a son or daughter of good family, they will see the immeasurable and countless Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones in the realms of the ten directions. Therefore, a son or daughter of good family, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, should meditate on the recollection of the Buddha as the nature of Dharma. Blessed One, these two are the nature of Dharma. Which two are the nature of Dharma? They are the nature of conditioned Dharma and the nature of unconditioned Dharma. Blessed One, what is the nature of conditioned Dharma? It is like this: the wisdom of emptiness of inner, the wisdom of emptiness of outer, the wisdom of emptiness of inner and outer, the wisdom of emptiness of the nature of non-things, and all thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, all noble truths, all immeasurables, all meditations, all formless absorptions, the wisdom of the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, the wisdom of the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, and the roots of good and non-good, with outflows and without outflows, with faults and without faults, mundane

That which is the wisdom of the mundane and supramundane, and of the defiled and purified dharmas, is called the nature of conditioned dharmas. What is the nature of unconditioned dharmas? That which has no arising, no ceasing, no abiding, no non-abiding, no defilement, no purification, no increase, no decrease, is said to be the nature of the absence of entity of all dharmas. What is the nature of the absence of entity of all dharmas? That which is inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner-outer emptiness, emptiness of emptiness, great emptiness, ultimate emptiness, conditioned emptiness, unconditioned emptiness, emptiness beyond extremes, emptiness without beginning or end, emptiness without abandonment, self-nature emptiness, emptiness of all dharmas, self-characteristic emptiness, imperceptible emptiness, emptiness of no-thing, nature emptiness, emptiness of the nature of no-thing, other-nature emptiness, emptiness of the self-nature of all dharmas, all of which are imperceptible, all dharmas are inexpressible, and whatever is beyond the realm of words, these are called the nature of unconditioned dharmas, which is a small part of the great altruistic intention. Then, the Bhagavan said to Śakra, lord of the gods: Kauśika, it is so, it is so. Whatever Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas who have appeared in the past have dwelt and lived, they too have relied on this Prajñāpāramitā and have manifestly awakened to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Whatever Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas will appear in the future will dwell and live, they too will rely on this Prajñāpāramitā and unsurpassed, perfect and complete

will become fully enlightened to Bodhi. Thus, in the realms of the ten directions that have appeared, the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas, however many dwell and act, and those who teach the Dharma, they also rely on this Prajñāpāramitā and become Buddhas, fully enlightened to unsurpassed perfect Bodhi. Those who have appeared in the past, and those who will appear in the future, and the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, however many there are, they also rely on this Prajñāpāramitā and become Buddhas, fully enlightened to unsurpassed perfect Bodhi, and will become fully enlightened to Bodhi. One attains the fruit of stream-entry, one will attain it. And the fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner, and Arhatship, one attains Arhatship, one will attain Arhatship. And now, in the countless realms of the ten directions, however many Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas dwell and act, they also rely on this Prajñāpāramitā and attain Śrāvaka Bodhi and Pratyekabodhi. Why is that? Because in this Prajñāpāramitā, all three vehicles are extensively explained. They are also the principle of no-sign, the principle of no-birth, the principle of no-cessation, the principle of no-affliction whatsoever, the principle of no-purity, the principle of no-manifestation of action, the principle of no-taking, the principle of no-abandoning, the principle of no-decreasing and increasing, the principle of no-accepting and rejecting. These are merely worldly terms, but in ultimate truth, it is not so. Why is that? Because this Prajñāpāramitā, whether it is this shore, the other shore, plain or hollow, equal or unequal, with signs or without signs, worldly or beyond worldly, conditioned or unconditioned, virtuous or non-virtuous, past or future, present, there is no designation.
