And the roots, faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, and paths will be well established in emptiness. Similarly, the ten powers, fearlessnesses, individual perfect knowledge, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha will be well established. Up to the all-knowingness, they will be well established in emptiness. Why is that? Because emptiness does not find fault in emptiness, signlessness does not find fault in signlessness, wishlessness does not find fault in wishlessness. Why is that? Because the nature of whoever finds fault, wherever fault is found, and on whatever fault is found, is non-existent. This is called the forbearance of subsequent knowledge of arising. (Kauśika), furthermore, those sons or daughters of good family will not be found fault with by humans or non-humans. Why is that? Because those sons or daughters of good family, in a non-apprehending manner, for the benefit of all sentient beings, cultivate loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity to a great extent. Those sons and daughters of good family will not die without abandoning fear. Why is that? Because those sons or daughters of good family who practice the perfection of generosity have honored all sentient beings with the correct order of reverence. (Kauśika), in this three-thousand great thousand world system, the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, or the Thirty-three, or the No-Conflict, or the Joyful, or the Enjoying Emanation, or the Controlling Others' Emanations, or the Brahma Host, or the Brahma Retinue, or the Great Brahma, up to the sons of the gods of Akanistha, whoever has generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and those sons of the gods who have not heard, not grasped, not held, not recited, not fully understood, and not properly attended to this Perfection of Wisdom, should also listen to this Perfection of Wisdom, should grasp it, should hold it, should recite it.

They should understand it. They should fully comprehend it. They should attend to it properly. They should not be separated from the mind of all-knowingness. This is called knowing the arising. Furthermore, Kauśika, any son or daughter of good family who holds, recites, and fully comprehends this Perfection of Wisdom, attends to it properly, and does not separate from the mind of all-knowingness, those sons or daughters of good family, Kauśika, even if they dwell in an empty house, dwell in an unshaded place, or dwell on a lost path, they will not be afraid or terrified. Why is that? Because those sons and daughters of good family have thoroughly meditated on inner emptiness in a way that does not fixate. They have thoroughly meditated on outer emptiness in a way that does not fixate. They have thoroughly meditated on inner-outer emptiness in a way that does not fixate. They have thoroughly meditated on emptiness of the nature of non-things up to emptiness in a way that does not fixate. Then, at that time, all the sons of the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, the gods of the Thirty-three, the gods of Yama, the gods of Tuṣita, the gods of Nirmāṇarati, the gods of Paranirmita-vaśavartin, and the gods up to the Pure Abodes in the three-thousand great-thousand world system, said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, we will constantly, without interruption, guard, hide, and protect those sons and daughters of good family who have faith in, hold, recite, and fully comprehend this Perfection of Wisdom, attend to it properly, widely show it to others, and do not separate from the mind of all-knowingness. Why is that? Because, Blessed One, relying on the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, all the hells of sentient beings will be cut off. The animal realm, the realm of Yama, the Asuras, the poor among humans, and all harms and contagious diseases will be cut off.
