Nor is the complete dedication complete. Nor is that dharma complete in which the dharma is completely dedicated. Nor is that which is completely dedicated complete. Those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are also not complete in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. Those roots of virtue of theirs are also not complete in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. Those Hearers and Solitary Buddhas are also not complete in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. Those roots of virtue of theirs are also not complete in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. Whatever is not complete is neither past, nor future, nor present. If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices in the Perfection of Wisdom, then whatever form is, that is not complete in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. Likewise, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, whatever consciousness is, that is not complete in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. Likewise, the realms, the sources, and the limbs of dependent arising are not complete in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices in the Perfection of Wisdom, then whatever form is not complete in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, that is not past, not future, not present. That cannot be completely dedicated in the manner of a sign or in the manner of an object. Why is that? Because there is no intrinsic nature there. Whatever has no intrinsic nature, that is no thing. No thing cannot be completely dedicated by no thing. Likewise, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, and the realms, the sources, and the limbs of dependent arising, and likewise the Perfection of Giving, the Perfection of Ethics, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Meditation, the Perfection of Wisdom, and that

Profoundly, the emptiness of the interior, the emptiness of the exterior, the emptiness of the interior and exterior, and the interval of the emptiness of the nature of non-things. Likewise, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the noble truths, the immeasurables, the meditations, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the six superknowledges, the samādhis, the doors of dhāraṇī, the ten powers of the Tathāgata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, the omniscience, the nature of non-forgetfulness, and the constant equanimity, except for the realm of desire, except for the realm of form, except for the realm of the formless, that is not past, not future, not present. That cannot be dedicated by way of signs or by way of objects. Why is that? Because it has no inherent existence. Whatever has no inherent existence is non-thing, and non-thing cannot be dedicated by non-thing. Knowing this way, the dedication of a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva is non-toxic. Furthermore, any son or daughter of the Mahāyāna lineage who dedicates those roots of virtue by way of signs or by way of objects, such a dedication is a perverted dedication, not a true dedication, and is not praised by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Whatever dedication is not praised by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, that is not a dedication. The perfection of generosity is not a dedication. The perfection of ethics is not a dedication. The perfection of patience is not a dedication. The perfection of diligence is not a dedication. The perfection of meditation is not a dedication. The perfection of wisdom is not a dedication.
