Furthermore, sons or daughters of good family, if they are to explain the Perfection of Wisdom to those sons or daughters of good family, they should explain it thus: Come, son of good family, cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom! If you cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom, you will obtain forbearance of the Dharma of non-arising. If you thus obtain forbearance of the Dharma of non-arising, you will abide in the superknowledges of the Bodhisattva. If you thus abide in superknowledges, you will go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field for the sake of serving, respecting, revering, making offerings to, remembering, and honoring the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. They should explain it thus. Kauśika, those sons or daughters of good family who explain it thus are demonstrating the image of the Perfection of Wisdom. Kauśika, furthermore, sons or daughters of good family, to those sons or daughters of good family who are of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, they should explain it thus: Sons of good family, whoever will hold, retain, recite, fully understand, and properly attend to the Perfection of Wisdom, that one's accumulation of merit will increase immeasurably, countless, and unmeasurable. They should say thus. Kauśika, those sons or daughters of good family who explain it thus are demonstrating the image of the Perfection of Wisdom. Kauśika, furthermore, sons or daughters of good family, to those sons or daughters of good family who are of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, they should explain it thus: Come, son of good family, you should gather together all the roots of virtue of the Tathāgatas, the Arhats, the Perfectly Awakened Ones of the past, future, and present, from the first arising of their minds until their complete passing into the realm of Nirvāṇa without remainder, and after rejoicing in them, dedicate them to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete Awakening! They should say thus. Those sons or daughters of good family who explain it thus are demonstrating the image of the Perfection of Wisdom.

Indra asked: "Venerable One, how should those sons or daughters of good families, those sons or daughters of good families who are of the Bodhisattva's vehicle, be shown so as not to show an image of the Perfection of Wisdom?" The Blessed One replied: "Kauśika, to those sons or daughters of good families here, those sons or daughters of good families who have rightly and completely entered the Great Vehicle, the Perfection of Wisdom should be shown in this way: Come, son of good family, cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom! Do not look upon form as impermanent. Why is that? Because form is empty by its very nature. What is the nature of form? It is non-existent. What is non-existent is the Perfection of Wisdom. What is the Perfection of Wisdom? In it, one does not perceive form as permanent or impermanent. Why is that? Because it is shown thus: If form itself does not exist, how can one look upon it as permanent or impermanent? Kauśika, those sons or daughters of good families who show it in this way do not show an image of the Perfection of Wisdom. Similarly, do not look upon feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness as impermanent. Why is that? Because consciousness is empty by its very nature. What is the nature of consciousness? It is non-existent. What is non-existent is the Perfection of Wisdom. What is the Perfection of Wisdom? In it, one does not perceive consciousness as permanent or impermanent. Why is that? Everything, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the eight liberations, the nine gradual abidings in meditative absorption, the immeasurables, the meditations, the formless absorptions, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the six superknowledges, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. Come, son of a noble family, you should cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom. Do not regard the All-Knowingness as impermanent. Why is that? Because, the All-Knowingness is empty of inherent existence; the inherent existence of the All-Knowingness is non-entity. Non-entity is the Perfection of Wisdom; in the Perfection of Wisdom, the All-Knowingness is not observed as permanent or impermanent. Why is that? Because, if the All-Knowingness itself does not exist, how could permanence or impermanence exist? Kausika, sons or daughters of a noble family who teach in this way do not show the image of the Perfection of Wisdom. Kausika, furthermore, to sons or daughters of a noble family who belong to the lineage of Bodhisattva vehicles, the Perfection of Wisdom is taught in this way: Come, son of a noble family, you should cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom. Do not look at any dharma, do not abide in any dharma. Why is that? Because, in the Perfection of Wisdom, there is no dharma to be looked at or to be abided in. Why is that? Kausika, because all dharmas are empty of inherent existence; a dharma that is empty of inherent existence is a non-entity. A non-entity is the Perfection of Wisdom; in the Perfection of Wisdom, there is no grasping, no abandoning, no birth, no cessation, no cutting off.
