I thought these were not produced from trees, shrubs, and vines. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the venerable Subhuti: 'Venerable Subhuti, these flowers are not produced, these flowers are not produced from the mind. They are not produced from trees, shrubs, and vines.' Subhuti said: ' कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), if it is said that these flowers are not born, these flowers are not produced from the mind, and are not produced from trees, shrubs, and vines, then, कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), whatever is not born is not a flower.' The lord of the gods, Indra, said: 'Venerable Subhuti, is it only these flowers that have not been produced? Or has form also not been produced? Have feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness also not been produced?' Subhuti said: ' कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), it is not only these flowers that have not been produced, कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), form has also not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not form. कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness have also not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not consciousness. कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), the eye has not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not the eye. कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), similarly, the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind have not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not the mind. कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), the earth element has not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not the earth element. कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), similarly, the water element, fire element, wind element, space element, and consciousness element have not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not the consciousness element. कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), the perfection of giving has not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not the perfection of giving. कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), similarly, the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of exertion, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom have not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not the perfection of wisdom. कौशिका (kauśika, कौशिका,Kausika, Owl), inner emptiness has not been produced, and whatever has not been produced is not inner emptiness.

Yes. Kauśika: There is no arising between the nature of non-entity and emptiness. Whatever has not arisen, that is not the nature of non-entity and emptiness. Kauśika: The mindfulnesses are unarisen. Whatever has not arisen, that is not the mindfulnesses. Kauśika: Similarly, the right abandonments, the legs of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path are unarisen. Whatever has not arisen, that is not the eightfold noble path. Kauśika: Similarly, the superknowledges, the truths, the immeasurables, the meditations, the formless absorptions, the powers of the Tathāgata, the four fearlessnesses, the four individual perfect knowledges, and the eighteen unmixed qualities of the Buddha are unarisen. Whatever has not arisen, that is not the unmixed qualities of the Buddha. Kauśika: The fruit of stream-entry is unarisen. Whatever has not arisen, that is not the fruit of stream-entry. Kauśika: Similarly, the fruit of once-returner, the fruit of non-returner, the state of Arhat, the solitary Buddha, and the omniscience are unarisen. Whatever has not arisen, that is not the omniscience. Kauśika: The stream-enterer is unarisen. Whatever has not arisen, that is not the stream-enterer. Kauśika: Similarly, the once-returner, the non-returner, the state of Arhat, the solitary Buddha, and the Tathāgata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha are unarisen. Whatever has not arisen, that is not the Tathāgata. This is the teaching of the nature of realization by saying that it has not arisen. Then the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: How wonderful! The venerable Subhūti, in this way, does not contradict the establishment, and also teaches the Dharma-nature, and is endowed with profound wisdom. Then the Blessed One said to Indra, the lord of the gods: It is so, Kauśika, it is so. The venerable Subhūti is endowed with profound wisdom, and establishes it in this way.
