Why is that? Subhuti, because in this way, whatever sentient beings are, whatever space is, whatever the Great Vehicle is, all of those are without an object of focus. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there are no sentient beings, one should understand that there is no space. Because there is no space, one should understand that there is no Great Vehicle. Because there is no Great Vehicle, one should understand that it is immeasurable. Subhuti, in that way, the Great Vehicle has the opportunity for sentient beings who are immeasurable, countless, and limitless. Why is that? Subhuti, because in this way, whatever sentient beings are, whatever space is, whatever the Great Vehicle is, and whatever is immeasurable, all of these are unobservable. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there are no sentient beings, one should understand that there is no space. Because there is no space, one should understand that there is no Great Vehicle. Because there is no Great Vehicle, one should understand that there is no countless. Subhuti, in that way, one should understand that the Great Vehicle has the opportunity for sentient beings who are immeasurable, countless, and limitless. Why is that? Subhuti, because in this way, whatever sentient beings are, whatever space is, whatever the Great Vehicle is, and whatever is countless, all of these are without an object of focus. Furthermore, Subhuti, because sentient beings are limitless, one should understand that there is no space. Because space is limitless, one should understand that there is no Great Vehicle. Because there is no Great Vehicle, one should understand that there is no limitless. Subhuti, in that way, the Great Vehicle does not have the opportunity for sentient beings who are immeasurable, countless, and limitless. Why is that? Whatever sentient beings are, whatever space is, whatever the Great Vehicle is, and whatever is limitless, all of those are without an object of focus. Furthermore, Subhuti, because sentient beings are limitless, one should understand that space is limitless. Because space is limitless, one should understand that the Great Vehicle is limitless. Furthermore, Subhuti, in this way also, the Great Vehicle distinguishes sentient beings who are immeasurable, countless, and limitless. Why is that? Subhuti, because in this way, whatever sentient beings are, whatever space is

And, all the Mahayana is because there is no object of focus. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there are no sentient beings, one should understand that there are no Tathagatas. Because there are no Tathagatas, one should understand that there is no space. Because there is no space, one should understand that there is no Mahayana. Because there is no Mahayana, one should understand that there is no unconditioned. Because there is no unconditioned, one should understand that there is no immeasurable. Because there is no immeasurable, one should understand that there is no countless. Because there is no countless, one should understand that there is no boundless. Because there is no boundless, one should understand that all dharmas do not exist. Subhuti, in this way, in this Mahayana, there is the opportunity for sentient beings to be immeasurable, countless, and boundless. Why is that? Subhuti, like this, whatever sentient beings are, whatever Tathagatas are, whatever space is, whatever Mahayana is, whatever unconditioned is, whatever immeasurable is, whatever countless is, whatever boundless is, whatever all dharmas are, all of those are because there is no object of focus. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there is no self, one should understand that there are no sentient beings, no life, no nourishment, no person, no individual, no one born of power, no son of power, no doer, no feeler, no knower, no seer. Because there is no seer, one should understand that there is no true limit. Because there is no true limit, one should understand that there is no space. Because there is no space, one should understand that there is no Mahayana. Because there is no Mahayana, one should understand that there is no immeasurable, no countless, no boundless. Because there is no immeasurable, no countless, no boundless, one should understand that all dharmas do not exist. Subhuti, in this way, in that Mahayana, there is the opportunity for sentient beings to be immeasurable, countless, and boundless. Why is that? Subhuti, like this, whatever is self, up to whatever is between the seer, whatever is the true limit, whatever is immeasurable, whatever is countless, whatever is boundless, whatever is all dharmas, all of those are because there is no object of focus.
