And feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are not apprehended. Why is that? Because whatever does not apprehend form is not form, because of its intrinsic emptiness. Whatever does not fully apprehend feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness is not consciousness, because of its intrinsic emptiness. Likewise, the interval between the limits of reality is not apprehended. Why is that? Because whatever does not apprehend the limits of reality is not the limits of reality, because of its intrinsic emptiness. The Perfection of Wisdom is also not apprehended because of its intrinsic emptiness. Blessed One, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, while practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, dwells with a mind that clings to self and what belongs to self due to unskilled means, then he is practicing the manifestation of the limits of reality, not abandoning the Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? Because a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices manifestation will not be fully grasped by the Perfection of Wisdom, will not enter into the yoga of the Perfection of Wisdom, and will not arise into omniscience without perfecting the Perfection of Wisdom. Blessed One, thus, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he should fully examine all phenomena as intrinsically empty, and in whatever way, he should fully examine so that the mind does not wander to any phenomenon. Blessed One, this is the Samadhi Mandala of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, called non-apprehension of all phenomena, which is vast, extensive, advanced, determined to be immeasurable, and cannot be stolen by all Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. A Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices this Samadhi Mandala will arise into omniscience.

Furthermore, the knowledge of all aspects is also because of the emptiness of the internal, and because of the emptiness of the external, and because of the emptiness of both internal and external, and because of the emptiness of emptiness itself, and because of the emptiness of the great, and because of the emptiness of the ultimate, and because of the emptiness of the conditioned, and because of the emptiness of the unconditioned, and because of the emptiness of transcending extremes, and because of the emptiness of having no beginning and no end, and because of the emptiness of non-abandonment, and because of the emptiness of inherent existence, and because of the emptiness of all phenomena, and because of the emptiness of self-characteristics, and because of the emptiness of non-apprehension, and because of the emptiness of the nature of non-things, and because of the emptiness of things, and because of the emptiness of non-things, and because of the emptiness of one's own nature, and because of the emptiness of the nature of others, it is not completely grasped. This is called the difference in the object and aspect of the small belonging to the peak. Why is that? Blessed One, in this way, the knowledge of all aspects should not be taken as a sign, for a sign is an affliction. And what is that sign? Form is a sign. Feeling is a sign. Perception is a sign. Formations are signs. Consciousness is a sign. The eye is a sign. The ear is a sign. The nose is a sign. The tongue is a sign. The body is a sign. The mind is a sign. Form is a sign. Sound is a sign. Smell is a sign. Taste is a sign. Touch is a sign. Phenomena are signs. Eye consciousness is a sign. Ear consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness, mind consciousness are signs. Eye contact is a sign. Ear contact, nose contact, tongue contact, body contact, mind contact are signs. The feeling arising from eye contact is a sign. The feeling arising from ear contact, the feeling arising from nose contact, the feeling arising from tongue

The feeling arising from contact with the ear, the feeling arising from contact with the body's aggregation, and the feeling arising from contact with the mind's aggregation are all signs. The earth element is a sign. The water element is a sign. The fire element, the wind element, the space element, and the consciousness element are all signs. Ignorance is a sign. Actions, consciousness, name and form, the six sense sources, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, old age, and death are signs. Giving to the other shore is a sign. Morality to the other shore, patience to the other shore, diligence to the other shore, meditation to the other shore, wisdom to the other shore are signs. Inner emptiness is a sign. Outer emptiness, inner and outer emptiness are signs. The emptiness of the nature of non-things in between is a sign. The four mindfulnesses are signs. The four complete abandonments, the legs of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, The eightfold noble path, the perfections, the superknowledges, the letters, the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, the analytical knowledges, the unmixed qualities of the Buddha, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the realm of reality, the certainty of phenomena in suchness, the limit of reality are signs; these are said to be afflictions. If the Perfection of Wisdom is also regarded as a sign, then, in this teaching of the wandering garland-wearer, faith in the omniscient wisdom will not arise. What is faith? It is like this: generating manifest faith in the Perfection of Wisdom, as well as realization, conviction, attention, measurement, and examination; these are not in the manner of signs, nor are they in the manner of signlessness, but are thus apprehended in the manner of signlessness. Thus, because there is no complete apprehension in terms of signs and signlessness, it is said that there is no complete apprehension.
