The eighteen realms are empty. What is the reason for this? Because in emptiness there are no four mindfulnesses, no four right exertions, no four supports of miraculous power, no five faculties, no five powers, no seven branches of enlightenment, and no eightfold noble path branches. There is no Bodhisattva. The dhyanas, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the fearlessnesses, the separate perfect knowledges, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas are empty of the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas. What is the reason for this? Because in emptiness, there are no noble truths, up to and including the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas. There is no Bodhisattva. The realm of Dharma is empty of the realm of Dharma, Suchness is empty of Suchness, the limit of reality is empty of the limit of reality, the inconceivable realm is empty of the inconceivable realm, the knowledge of all is empty of the knowledge of all, the knowledge of the aspects of the path is empty of the knowledge of the aspects of the path, the knowledge of all aspects is empty of the knowledge of all aspects. What is the reason for this? Because in emptiness, there is no realm of Dharma, up to and including the knowledge of all aspects. There is no Bodhisattva. The Hearer Vehicle is empty of the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Buddha Vehicle is empty of the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, the Buddha Vehicle is empty of the Buddha Vehicle, the Hearer is empty of the Hearer, the Solitary Buddha is empty of the Solitary Buddha, the Tathagata is empty of the Tathagata. What is the reason for this? Because in emptiness, there is no Hearer Vehicle, up to and including the Solitary Buddha Vehicle. There is no Hearer, up to and including the Tathagata. There is no Bodhisattva. Venerable Shariputra, for that reason, form is neither obtainable nor visible as a Bodhisattva. Feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are neither obtainable nor visible as a Bodhisattva. Venerable Shariputra, if anyone says, "I can know all Bodhisattvas."
