From the initial generation of Bodhicitta until abiding in the essence of Bodhicitta, all the arising Bodhicittas, because they are both non-substantial and non-non-substantial, therefore, this Mahayana overcomes and subdues the world including gods, humans, and asuras. Subhuti, if the Vajra-like wisdom of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva were substantial, and not non-substantial, then the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva would not fully comprehend all the afflictions connected by habitual tendencies as non-substantial, nor would they attain the wisdom of omniscience, the most supreme of all aspects. Nor would they overcome and subdue the world including gods, humans, and asuras. Subhuti, because the Vajra-like wisdom of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is non-substantial and non-non-substantial, therefore, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva fully comprehends all the afflictions connected by habitual tendencies as non-substantial, and also attains the wisdom of omniscience, the most supreme of all aspects. They are able to overcome and subdue the world including gods, humans, and asuras. Subhuti, if the thirty-two marks of the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha were substantial, and not non-substantial, then the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha would not overcome the world including gods, humans, and asuras, nor would they shine brilliantly with splendor and glory. They would not be radiant, nor would they be luminous. Subhuti, because the thirty-two major marks of the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha are non-substantial and non-non-substantial, therefore, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha overcomes the world including gods, humans, and asuras, and is beautiful, shining, radiant, and luminous with splendor and glory.

If it were not so, then the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, would not expand the world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River with appearances. Subhuti, the light of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One is not substantial, because it is not substantial, therefore the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One expands and fills the world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River with light. Subhuti, if the speech of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, which possesses sixty branches, were substantial, and not non-substantial, then the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, would not make the world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River in the ten directions manifestly understood by speech. Subhuti, the speech of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, which possesses sixty branches, is not substantial, nor is it substantial, therefore the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, makes the world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River in the ten directions manifestly understood by speech. Subhuti, if the Dharma wheel of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, were substantial, and not non-substantial, then the Dharma wheel of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, whether by a renunciate, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or Brahma, or anyone else, could not be turned in accordance with the Dharma in the world, nor would it be turned. Subhuti, the Dharma wheel of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, is not substantial, because it is not substantial, therefore the Dharma wheel of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, whether by a renunciate, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or Brahma, or anyone else, is well turned in accordance with the Dharma in the world. Subhuti, if those sentient beings for whose sake the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, turns the wheel of Dharma,
