The perfection of meditative concentration. Furthermore, Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the perfection of meditative concentration, he focuses his mind single-pointedly with the intention of possessing all aspects of knowledge. Because of his single-pointed focus, he does not understand the intentions associated with hearers and solitary realizers. Moreover, he shares this root of virtue with all sentient beings and dedicates it to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is the perfection of meditative concentration within the practice of the perfection of meditative concentration by a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Furthermore, Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the perfection of meditative concentration, he cultivates the perfection of wisdom, not with the intention associated with hearers and solitary realizers, but with the intention of possessing all aspects of knowledge. He abides closely with the perception that all phenomena are like illusions. He does not become arrogant because of that meditative concentration, nor does he fixate on that meditative concentration. Moreover, he shares this root of virtue with all sentient beings and dedicates it to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is the perfection of wisdom within the practice of the perfection of meditative concentration by a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the perfection of meditative concentration in this way, he fully embraces all six perfections. Therefore, it is called donning great armor. This is the fifth of the six armors of the perfection of meditative concentration. Sixth, the six armors of the perfection of wisdom. Furthermore, Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, not with the intention associated with hearers and solitary realizers, but with the intention of possessing all aspects of knowledge, he perfectly gives generosity with the purity of the three spheres.
