These endowed lotuses were also offered to the Bhagavan by the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Ratnakara for the purpose of making offerings to the Bhagavan. Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Shakyamuni Buddha took those lotuses and scattered them in the direction of the eastern world realms, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, to where those Tathagatas, Arhats, Samyaksambuddhas were. Then, those lotuses caused all those world realms to be filled, and many bodies of the Tathagatas resided on those lotuses, and in those Buddha-fields, like this, they taught this very Dharma teaching endowed with the Perfection of Wisdom. Whatever sentient beings heard that Dharma teaching, all of them were awakened to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Bodhisattvas, whether householders, renunciates, or those appearing in the form of boys and girls, together with all the rays of light, came from the world realm of precious jewels, and they also, with their own roots of virtue, served, revered, respected, and made offerings to the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Shakyamuni Buddha, and then sat on one side. Then, in the southern direction, having passed beyond world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, beyond all of those, in the world realm beyond all of them, which is called "Free from All Sorrow," there resides the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Ashoka Sri Tathagata, who lives and teaches, and correctly teaches this Perfection of Wisdom to the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Then, in that world realm, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva named Ashoka, because he was dwelling there, saw that great light, the great earthquake, and the Tathagata's body that was impossible to behold enough of, and then, where was the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Ashoka Sri?

Then he went and prostrated at the feet of that Bhagavan, and said to that Bhagavan Tathagata Ashokashri (梵文:Aśokasrī,梵文罗马拟音:ashokashri,汉语字面意思:Auspicious Ashoka without Sorrow): "Bhagavan, what is the cause and what is the reason for such a great light appearing in the world, such a great shaking, and such a body of the Tathagata existing?" After he said this, the Bhagavan Tathagata Ashokashri said to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ashoka: "Son of good family, from here to the north, beyond as many worlds as the sands of the Ganges River, there is a world called 'Saha'. There, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, named Shakyamuni Buddha, resides and maintains life. He teaches the Prajnaparamita to the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Such a sight is due to his power." Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Viraja said to the Bhagavan Tathagata Ashokashri: "Bhagavan, I also wish to go to the Saha world to see the Bhagavan Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha Shakyamuni Buddha, and to prostrate and make offerings to him, and to see those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who have mostly become youths, who are proficient in Dharani and individual correct knowledge, and who have attained the highest mastery of Samadhi and Samapatti." The Bhagavan Tathagata Ashokashri said: "Son of good family, if you know that now is the time, then go." Then, the Tathagata Ashokashri gave a thousand lotus flowers made of various jewels, appearing golden in color, to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Viraja. "Son of good family, scatter these lotus flowers to the Bhagavan Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha Shakyamuni Buddha, and say this: 'Bhagavan Ashokashri inquires after the Bhagavan's health.'

Do you have no illness? Do you have no pain? Are you rising well? Are you walking normally? Are you dwelling in comfort? Thus he inquired. Please tell the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Glory of No Sorrow, that those lotuses are also offered to the Blessed One. Son of good family, act with mindfulness in that Buddha-field. Why is that? Because the Bodhisattvas, the great beings born in that world-realm, are difficult to attend upon; one might fall there. Then, the Bodhisattva, the great being Free from Sorrow, took those lotuses that appeared golden in color and possessed a thousand petals from the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Complete Buddha, the Glory of No Sorrow. Together with hundreds of thousands of millions of Bodhisattvas, householders, renunciants, and those appearing in the forms of boys and girls, he circumambulated and proceeded forward, vanished from that Buddha-field, and to all the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who resided and maintained their lives in the southern direction, he made offerings with flowers, incense, burning incense, garlands, ointments, powders, garments, ornaments, parasols, victory banners, and flags, and performed acts of reverence, respect, and service. Through the great magical power of the Bodhisattva and the great strength of the Bodhisattva, he went to where the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Complete Buddha, Shakyamuni was, and upon arriving, he bowed his head to the two feet of the Blessed One and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the Bodhisattva, the great being Free from Sorrow, spoke thus to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Complete Buddha, the Glory of No Sorrow, inquires whether the Blessed One is well, whether you have no illness, whether you have no pain, whether you are rising well, whether you are walking normally, whether you are dwelling in comfort, and in order to make offerings to the Blessed One, he offers these lotuses that appear golden in color and possess a thousand petals to the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Glory of No Sorrow."
