Just as the great trichiliocosm, including Mount Sumeru, including the surrounding environment, including the realms of the gods, including the powerful ones, including the controllers, including the classes of gods and asuras, including Brahma, including the pure abodes, is subdued by power and abides, adorned with light, body color, splendor, and glory, bright, orderly, and radiant. Just as the Bhagavan subdues the trichiliocosm with power, and abides adorned with light, body color, splendor, and glory, bright, orderly, and radiant, so too, the world of the eastern direction, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, is subdued by power, and abides adorned with light, body color, splendor, and glory, bright, orderly, and radiant. The southern, western, northern, northeastern, southeastern, southwestern, and northwestern directions, and each of the lower and upper directions, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, are subdued by power, and abide adorned with light, body color, splendor, and glory, bright, orderly, and radiant. For example, the king of mountains, Mount Sumeru, abiding subduing all other black mountains, is adorned, bright, orderly, and radiant. For example, the mandala of the moon abiding subduing all forms of stars, is adorned, bright, orderly, and radiant. For example, the mandala of the sun abiding subduing all other lights, is adorned, bright, orderly, and radiant. Similarly, the Bhagavan abiding subduing the ten directions of the world, including the realms of the gods, including the powerful ones, including Brahma, including the pure abodes, is also adorned with light, body color, splendor, and glory, bright, orderly, and radiant. Then, again, in this trichiliocosm, the Bhagavan manifested as the very nature body of the Bhagavan. Then, in this trichiliocosm, the assembly of gods of the pure abodes, the all-seeing joy, the assembly of Brahmas, the Paranirmitavasavartins, and the Nirmanaratis.

They completely offered them. They exceedingly offered them. In this trichiliocosm, as many beings as there were who were able to be tamed and were suitable vessels, they also carried many flowers born from water and flowers born from land, and went to where the Bhagavan was, and made offerings to the Bhagavan. Flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, and so on, clothes, ornaments, umbrellas, victory banners, and banners, all of these were immediately blessed by the Bhagavan, and above the Bhagavan's head in the sky, a palace of flowers and so on was piled up, as vast as the trichiliocosm, and remained there. From that piled-up palace, many divine flowers and silk streamers hung down. They completely hung down. They exceedingly hung down. Those flowers and silk streamers made this trichiliocosm exceedingly beautiful. The Bhagavan

The light of that was like the color of gold, which was extremely beautiful, sparkling, bright, and clear. Just as this three-thousand-great-thousand world system is, so too were the world systems to the east, as many as grains of sand in the Ganges River, pervaded and illuminated by the light of the Bhagavan. To the south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and the directions of below and above, each and every direction, the world systems as many as grains of sand in the Ganges River, were pervaded and illuminated by the light of the Bhagavan. Then, the people of Jambudvipa, seeing the Tathagata's body that they could not tire of looking at, thought to themselves: 'The Tathagata is dwelling before us and teaching the Dharma.' Just as the people of Jambudvipa thought, so too did the people of the western Godaniya, the eastern Purvavideha, the northern Uttarakuru, the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, and up to the gods of Akanistha. Similarly, all the humans and gods of the thousandfold world system, the two-thousandfold world system, and the three-thousand-great-thousand world system, seeing the Tathagata's body that they could not tire of looking at, thought to themselves: 'The Tathagata is dwelling before us and teaching the Dharma.' Then, again, the Bhagavan, while seated on that lion throne, emitted a great light. Again, that light illuminated this three-thousand-great-thousand world system. To the east, south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and the directions of below and above, each and every direction, the world systems as many as grains of sand in the Ganges River were illuminated. By that light, all the sentient beings who existed in this three-thousand-great-thousand world system saw the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones of the world systems to the east, as many as grains of sand in the Ganges River.
