Then, many were seen with the monastic community of the Hearers and with the retinue of Bodhisattvas. In those worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River in the eastern direction, whatever sentient beings resided, they also saw the Blessed One, the Thus-Gone One, the Foe-Destroyer, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Shakyamuni, abiding together with the monastic community of monks and the retinue of Bodhisattvas in this three-thousand great-thousand world system. Similarly, whatever sentient beings there were in this world, they all saw in each direction—south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and below and above—in those worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, the Thus-Gone One, the Foe-Destroyer, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha, together with the monastic community of Hearers and many retinues of Bodhisattvas. All the sentient beings in those worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River also saw the Blessed One, the Thus-Gone One, the Foe-Destroyer, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Shakyamuni, abiding together with the monastic community of monks and the retinue of Bodhisattvas in this three-thousand great-thousand world system. Then, having passed beyond worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River in the eastern direction, beyond all of those, in the world called "Endowed with Jewels," there dwells the Thus-Gone One, the Foe-Destroyer, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha called Jewel Source, who nourishes and protects, and he teaches this very Perfection of Wisdom to the Bodhisattva Great Beings. After he said this, the Blessed One, the Tathagata Ratnasambhava, spoke to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sarvaprakash as follows: "Son of good family, to the west of here, beyond as many world realms as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, there is a world realm called the Sahā world. There, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, resides and teaches. He teaches the Prajnaparamita to the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and this is his power." Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sarvaprakash said to the Blessed One, the Tathagata Ratnasambhava, as follows: "Blessed One, I also wish to go to the Sahā world realm to see the Blessed One, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, to pay homage and make offerings to him, and to see those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who are mostly young, who have attained the accomplishment of dharanis and individual perfect knowledge, and who have great mastery over all samadhis and samapattis." The Blessed One, the Tathagata Ratnasambhava, said: "Son of good family, if you know that now is the time, then go." Please, ask the Bhagavan Ratnasambhava, "Do you have no illness? Do you have no discomfort? Are you able to rise? Are you able to move about? Are you dwelling in comfort?" Please convey this message. Please also say that the Bhagavan Ratnasambhava, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, the Bhagavan Ratnasambhava, sends these lotuses to the Bhagavan. Son of good family, act with mindfulness in that Buddha-field. Why? Because those Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas who are born in the Sahā world are difficult to attend to, and they easily degenerate there. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sarvaprakasha, from the Bhagavan Ratnasambhava, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha Ratnasambhava, took those thousand-petaled lotuses made of various jewels, appearing golden in color. Accompanied by countless billions of householder Bodhisattvas, ordained Bodhisattvas, and boys and girls, he disappeared from that Buddha-field and went to the east, to all the Buddhas Bhagavans who reside and care for beings. He offered flowers, incense, burning incense, garlands, unguents, powders, clothes, ornaments, umbrellas, banners, and flags, and performed acts of service, reverence, respect, and worship. By the great miraculous power of the Bodhisattva and the great power of the Bodhisattva, he went to where the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha Shakyamuni Buddha was, and upon arriving, he bowed his head to the feet of the Bhagavan and sat down to one side. Having sat down to one side, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Sarvaprakasha said to the Bhagavan, "Bhagavan, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha Ratnasambhava, asks if the Bhagavan is well? Do you have no illness? Do you have no discomfort? Are you able to rise? Are you able to move about? Are you dwelling in comfort?" And he offered the thousand-petaled lotuses appearing golden in color.
