The emptiness of the feeling arising from the union of eye, that is not the feeling arising from the union of eye. Apart from emptiness, there is no feeling arising from the union of eye. The Bodhisattva, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, does not abide in the mindfulnesses. Likewise, he does not abide in the right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the eightfold noble path, the ten powers of the Thus-gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four individual perfect knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. Why is that? Bhagavan, thus, those unshared qualities of a Buddha are empty of the unshared qualities of a Buddha. That emptiness of the unshared qualities of a Buddha is also not the unshared qualities of a Buddha. Apart from emptiness, there are also no unshared qualities of a Buddha; the unshared qualities of a Buddha are emptiness itself, and emptiness itself is the unshared qualities of a Buddha. Bhagavan, in that way, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, does not abide in the unshared qualities of a Buddha. Bhagavan, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, does not abide in the Perfection of Giving. Why is that? Bhagavan, thus, the Perfection of Giving is empty of the Perfection of Giving. That emptiness of the Perfection of Giving is also not the Perfection of Giving. Apart from emptiness, there is also no Perfection of Giving; the Perfection of Giving is emptiness itself, and emptiness itself is the Perfection of Giving. The Perfection of Ethics, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Meditation, and the Perfection of Wisdom, he also does not abide in the Perfection of Wisdom.
