Shariputra, this is the faultlessness of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Prajnaparamita, which is the distinction between the object and aspect of slight warmth in terms of the truth of cessation. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Prajnaparamita should train in this way. When training, one must know form, but one should not be arrogant because of it. One should know feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness, but one should not be arrogant because of them. One should know the eye, but one should not be arrogant because of it.

The five supernormal knowledges, the five eyes, and the mindfulnesses should be known, but do not become arrogant because of them. The ninth chapter, the right abandonments, the supports of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the noble eightfold path should be known, but do not become arrogant because of them. The ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four individual perfect knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha should be known, but do not become arrogant because of them. Shariputra, the venerable, thus, when a bodhisattva mahasattva practices the perfection of wisdom, the mind of enlightenment should be known, that is, the unequal and the equal, and the great mind should be known, but do not become arrogant because of them. Why is that? Because this mind is not mind, the nature of mind is luminosity. Shariputra said, "Venerable Subhuti, what is the luminous nature of mind?" Subhuti said, "Venerable Shariputra, whatever mind is associated with desire is neither associated nor disassociated. It is neither associated nor disassociated with hatred. It is neither associated nor disassociated with delusion. It is neither associated nor disassociated with all arising. It is neither associated nor disassociated with all objects. It is neither associated nor disassociated with all latent tendencies. It is neither associated nor disassociated with all bonds. It is neither associated nor disassociated with all views. It is neither associated nor disassociated with the mind of hearers and solitary Buddhas. This, venerable Shariputra, is the luminous nature of the mind of a bodhisattva mahasattva." Shariputra said, "Venerable Subhuti, does that which is called the mind without mind exist?" Subhuti said, "Venerable Shariputra, do you think that the very nature of mindlessness is existent or nonexistent, attainable or objectifiable?" Shariputra said, "Venerable Subhuti, it is not so." Subhuti said, "Venerable Shariputra, if the very nature of mindlessness
