Flowers and many silk streamers were hanging. They were conspicuously hanging. They were very much hanging. Those flowers and silk streamers made this three-thousand-great-thousand world system exceedingly beautiful. The light of the Bhagavan, like the color of gold, was also exceedingly beautiful, shining, bright, and radiant. Just as it was in this three-thousand-great-thousand world system, so too were the world systems to the east, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, pervaded and illuminated by the light of the Bhagavan. To the south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and in the directions of below and above, each and every direction, the world systems as many as the sands of the Ganges River were pervaded and illuminated by the light of the Bhagavan. Then, the people of Jambudvipa, seeing the body of the Tathagata, which they could not tire of looking at, thought to themselves: 'The Tathagata is sitting before us and teaching the Dharma!' Just as the people of Jambudvipa thought, so too did the people of the Western Godaniya, the Eastern Purvavideha, the Northern Uttarakuru, the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, and up to the gods of Akanistha. Likewise, all the people and all the gods of the thousandfold world system, the two-thousandfold world system, and the three-thousand-great-thousand world system, seeing the body of the Tathagata, which they could not tire of looking at, thought to themselves: 'The Tathagata is sitting before us and teaching the Dharma!' Then, again, the Bhagavan, while seated on that lion throne, emitted a great radiance. Again, that light illuminated this three-thousand-great-thousand world system. To the east, south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, and in the directions of below and above, each and every direction, the world systems as many as the sands of the Ganges River were illuminated.

By that power, all sentient beings in this threefold great thousandfold world system saw many Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, together with their assemblies of Śrāvakas and retinues of Bodhisattvas, in world systems as numerous as the grains of sand in the river Ganges in the eastern direction. Likewise, all sentient beings dwelling in those world systems as numerous as the grains of sand in the river Ganges in the eastern direction saw the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha Śākyamuni, together with his assembly of monks and in the company of Bodhisattvas, in this threefold great thousandfold world system. Similarly, the sentient beings in this world system saw in each direction—south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, below, and above—in world systems as numerous as the grains of sand in the river Ganges, many Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, together with their assemblies of Śrāvakas and retinues of Bodhisattvas. All sentient beings in those world systems as numerous as the grains of sand in the river Ganges also saw the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha Śākyamuni, together with his assembly of monks and in the company of Bodhisattvas, in this threefold great thousandfold world system. Then, beyond world systems as numerous as the grains of sand in the river Ganges in the eastern direction, in a world system called "Endowed with Jewels," there dwells the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha called "Jewel Source," who nourishes and protects, and teaches this very Dharma of the Perfection of Wisdom to the Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas. The great hero Bodhisattva named "All-Illuminating Light" saw the great light, the great earthquake, and the Tathagata's body that was impossible to fully behold. Then, he went to where the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddha Ratnasambhava was, and upon arriving, he prostrated at the feet of the Bhagavan. He then said to the Bhagavan Tathagata Ratnasambhava: "Bhagavan, what is the cause and reason for such a great light appearing in the world, such a great earthquake, and such a Tathagata's body appearing?" After he said this, the Bhagavan Tathagata Ratnasambhava said to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva All-Illuminating Light: "Son of noble family, to the west, beyond worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, there is a world called the Sahā world. There, the Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddha Shakyamuni Buddha resides and teaches. He is teaching the Prajnaparamita to the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and this is due to his power." Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva All-Illuminating Light said to the Bhagavan Tathagata Ratnasambhava: "Bhagavan, I also wish to go to the Sahā world to see the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddha Shakyamuni Buddha, to prostrate and make offerings to him, and to see those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who have mostly become young, who are proficient in Dharani and individual correct knowledge, and who have attained the highest mastery of Samadhi and Samapatti." The Bhagavan Tathagata Ratnasambhava said: "Son of noble family, if you know that now is the time, then go." Then, the Tathagata Ratnasambhava gave various precious lotuses
