Feeling emptiness, and feeling emptiness arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of mind, does not definitely arise from the three realms. Nor does it abide in the state of all-knowingness. Subhuti, what is the reason for that? It is because the feeling arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of the eye is empty of the feeling arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of the eye. The feeling arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of the ear, and the feeling arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of the nose, and the feeling arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of the tongue, and the feeling arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of the body, and the feeling arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of the mind, are empty of the feeling arising from the condition of contact through the aggregation of the mind. Subhuti, whoever desires that signless dharmas should definitely arise, that is merely desiring that a dream should definitely arise. Subhuti, whoever desires that signless dharmas should definitely arise, that is merely desiring that illusion, mirage, echo, optical illusion, reflection, city of gandharvas, and the emanation of the Tathagata should definitely arise. What is the reason for that? Subhuti, a dream does not definitely arise from the three realms. Nor does it abide in the state of all-knowingness. Illusion, mirage, echo, optical illusion, reflection, city of gandharvas, and the emanation of the Tathagata do not definitely arise from the three realms. Nor do they abide in the state of all-knowingness. Subhuti, what is the reason for that? It is because a dream is empty of a dream. Illusion, mirage, echo, optical illusion, reflection, city of gandharvas, and the emanation of the Tathagata are empty of the emanation of the Tathagata. This is said to be the antidote to the first concept grasped by the path of seeing. Subhuti, whoever desires that signless dharmas should definitely arise, that is merely desiring that the perfection of generosity should definitely arise. Subhuti, whoever desires that signless dharmas should definitely arise, that is merely desiring that the perfection of discipline, and the perfection of patience, and the perfection of diligence, and

The perfection of generosity, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom are merely considered to necessarily arise. Why is that? Subhuti, the essence of the perfection of generosity does not necessarily arise from the three realms. It does not abide in the state of all-knowingness. The essence of the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom does not necessarily arise from the three realms. It does not abide in the state of all-knowingness. Why is that? Subhuti, in this way, the essence of the perfection of generosity is empty of the essence of the perfection of generosity. The essence of the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom is empty of the essence of the perfection of wisdom. Subhuti, whoever wishes to necessarily arise from the signless dharmas, merely wishes to necessarily arise from inner emptiness. Subhuti, whoever wishes to necessarily arise from the signless dharmas, merely wishes to necessarily arise from outer emptiness. Subhuti, whoever wishes to necessarily arise from the signless dharmas, merely wishes to necessarily arise from inner and outer emptiness. Subhuti, whoever wishes to necessarily arise from the signless dharmas, merely wishes to necessarily arise from the emptiness of the nature of non-things. Why is that? Subhuti, inner emptiness does not necessarily arise from the three realms. It does not abide in the state of all-knowingness. Outer emptiness does not necessarily arise from the three realms. It does not abide in the state of all-knowingness. Inner and outer emptiness does not necessarily arise from the three realms. It does not abide in the state of all-knowingness. The emptiness of the nature of non-things does not necessarily arise from the three realms. It does not abide in all-

Nor does it abide in the all-knowingness itself. Why is that? Subhuti, for example, inner emptiness is empty by inner emptiness. Outer emptiness is empty by outer emptiness. Inner-outer emptiness is empty by inner-outer emptiness. The emptiness of the nature of non-things up to the emptiness of the nature of non-things is also empty by the emptiness of the nature of non-things. Subhuti, whoever wants to make the signless dharmas emerge, that is simply wanting to make the mindfulnesses emerge. Subhuti, whoever wants to make the signless dharmas emerge, that is wanting to make the four right exertions, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path emerge. Why is that? Subhuti, the nature of the mindfulnesses is not emerging from the three realms, nor does it abide in the all-knowingness itself. The nature of the four right exertions, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path is not emerging from the three realms, nor does it abide in the all-knowingness itself. Why is that? Subhuti, for example, the nature of the mindfulnesses is empty by the nature of the mindfulnesses.
