While practicing the perfection of meditative concentration, one does not focus with the mind associated with hearers and solitary realizers, but focuses with the mind associated with the knowledge of all aspects, completely cultivating patience, and sharing that root of virtue with all sentient beings, and completely dedicating it to the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is the perfection of patience practiced by a bodhisattva mahasattva practicing the perfection of meditative concentration. Furthermore, Shariputra, a bodhisattva mahasattva, does not focus with the mind associated with hearers and solitary realizers, but focuses with the mind associated with the knowledge of all aspects, and while practicing the perfection of meditative concentration, does not slacken in diligence, and shares that root of virtue with all sentient beings, and completely dedicates it to the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is the perfection of diligence practiced by a bodhisattva mahasattva practicing the perfection of meditative concentration. Furthermore, Shariputra, a bodhisattva mahasattva, while practicing the perfection of meditative concentration, focuses with the mind associated with the knowledge of all aspects, making the mind one-pointed, and because the aim is solely on that, does not understand the actions of the minds associated with hearers and solitary realizers, and shares that root of virtue with all sentient beings, and completely dedicates it to the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is the perfection of meditative concentration practiced by a bodhisattva mahasattva practicing the perfection of meditative concentration. Furthermore, Shariputra, when a bodhisattva mahasattva practices the perfection of meditative concentration, if he cultivates the perfection of wisdom, he does not focus with the mind associated with hearers and solitary realizers, but focuses with the mind associated with the knowledge of all aspects, abiding closely with the perception of all phenomena as illusory, and does not become arrogant with that meditative concentration, nor does he fixate on that meditative concentration, and shares that root of virtue with all sentient beings.
