Yes. To discriminate and manifestly cling to consciousness, this is called the discrimination belonging to the peak, possessing the first discrimination of the meaning of the aggregates. To discriminate and manifestly cling to the eye. Similarly, up to the mind, to manifestly discriminate and manifestly cling to form. Similarly, to discriminate and manifestly cling to phenomena, this is called the second discrimination of that, which is the discrimination of the meaning of the gate of birth. To discriminate and manifestly cling to the eye, form, and the realm of eye consciousness. Similarly, to discriminate and manifestly cling between the mind, phenomena, and the realm of mind consciousness, this is called the third discrimination of that, which is the discrimination of the meaning of lineage. To discriminate and manifestly cling to ignorance. Similarly, up to discriminating and manifestly clinging to old age and death, this is called the fourth discrimination of that, which is the discrimination of the meaning of birth. To discriminate and manifestly cling between inner emptiness, outer emptiness, inner-outer emptiness, and the emptiness of the nature of non-things, this is called the fifth discrimination of that, which is the discrimination of the meaning of emptiness. To discriminate and manifestly cling to the six perfections, this is called the sixth discrimination of that, which is the discrimination of the meaning of the pāramitās. To discriminate and manifestly cling to the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, this is called the seventh discrimination of that, which is the discrimination of the meaning of the path of seeing. To discriminate and manifestly cling to those dhyānas and superknowledges, immeasurables, and formless attainments, this is called the eighth discrimination of that, which is the discrimination of the meaning of the path of cultivation. To discriminate and manifestly cling to the ten powers of the Tathāgata. Up to discriminating and manifestly clinging to all-knowingness, this is called the ninth discrimination of that, which is the discrimination of the path of no more learning. These are the second discriminations of the object of grasping. The first discrimination of the grasper. The nine discriminations belonging to forbearance. Śāri

Son, I do not fixate on self. Similarly, I do not fixate on sentient beings, life, nourishment, individuals, persons, those born of power, offspring of power, agents, knowers, cognizers, or seers. Why is that? Because of being utterly pure, there is no self and no fixation, which is called the conceptualization belonging to forbearance, arising from the conceptualization possessing forbearance. The first conceptualization is the conceptualization of an independent self. Shariputra, from not fixating on form to not fixating on consciousness, this is the second conceptualization, which is the conceptualization of a singular self. Shariputra, there is no fixation on the eye. Similarly, up to the mind, there is no fixation on form, up to phenomena, this is the third conceptualization, which is the conceptualization of the nature of a cause. Shariputra, there is no fixation on the eye, form, and eye-consciousness. Up to mind, phenomena, and mind-consciousness, this is the fourth conceptualization, which is the conceptualization of a self such as a seer. Shariputra, there is no fixation on dependent origination. Up to the formless realms, this is the fifth conceptualization, which is the conceptualization of a self that is the basis of all afflictions. There is no fixation on the first dhyana. Up to the attainment of the formless absorptions, this is the sixth conceptualization, which is the conceptualization of a self that is the basis of detachment from desire. There is no fixation on the noble truths, this is the seventh conceptualization, which is the conceptualization of a self that is the basis of seeing. There is no fixation on the eight liberations and the nine successive abidings, this is the eighth conceptualization, which is the conceptualization of a self that is the basis of meditation. There is no fixation on the ten powers. Up to omniscience, there is no fixation. How is there no fixation? In the nature of self. Why is that? Because the self is utterly pure, this is the ninth conceptualization, which is the conceptualization of the basis of what has been done. These are the conceptualizations of grasping.
