That which is called "Perfection of Wisdom," and that which is called "Bodhisattva," and that which is referred to as "Name of a Bodhisattva," all of this is expressed as terms with various names. These names are also merely designated as terms by the sign of names, but in reality, they neither arise nor cease. These names are neither internal nor external, nor can they be found apart from the two. Subhuti, thus should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva train in the Perfection of Wisdom. Furthermore, Subhuti, for example, like dreams, echoes, mirages, images, illusions, water moons, and the emanated teachings of the Tathagata, all of these are merely designated as Dharma. And that which is designated as Dharma is also merely expressed as a term by the sign of names, but in reality, it neither arises nor ceases. This name is neither internal nor external, nor can it be found apart from the two. Similarly, Subhuti, that which is called "Perfection of Wisdom," and that which is called "Bodhisattva," and that which is referred to as "Name of a Bodhisattva," all of this is merely designated as Dharma. And that which is designated as Dharma is also merely expressed as a term by the sign of names, but in reality, it neither arises nor ceases. These names are neither internal nor external, nor can they be found apart from the two. Subhuti, thus, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he should train in the designation of the sign of names, the designation of instructions, and the designation of Dharma, which is knowing the Dharma in suffering. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, when thus practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, does not truly see form as permanent. He does not truly see form as impermanent. He does not truly see form as pleasurable. He does not truly see form as painful. He does not truly see form as self. He does not truly see form as selfless. He does not truly see form as peaceful. He does not truly see form as not peaceful. Form
