In the world called Lotus Abode, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Padmaśrī resides and maintains. He correctly teaches this Prajñāpāramitā to the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas. Then, in that world, the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva named Lotus Supreme dwells. Having seen that great light, and the great shaking of the earth, and the Tathagata's body that is impossible to look at enough, he went to where the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Padmaśrī was, and having arrived, he said this to the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Padmaśrī: "Bhagavan, what is the cause? What is the reason for such a great light appearing in the world, and such a great shaking of the earth, and the presence of such a Tathagata's body?" After he said this, the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Padmaśrī said this to the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva Lotus Supreme: "Son of good family, in the direction above, beyond worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, there is a world called Sahā. There, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Śākyamuni resides and maintains. He teaches the Prajñāpāramitā to the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas. Such a thing as this is his power." Then, the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva Lotus Supreme said this to the Bhagavan Padmaśrī: "Bhagavan, I also want to go to the Sahā world, to see the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Śākyamuni, and to prostrate and make offerings to him, and to see those Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas who have mostly become young, who are skilled in dhāraṇīs and individual correct knowledge, and who are very proficient in practicing samādhi and samāpatti, and who have great mastery over everything."

in order to see those attainments. The Blessed One, the Tathagata, Padma's Glory, said: Son of good family, if you know that the time has come, go now. Then, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, Padma's Glory, sent a thousand lotus flowers, born from various precious lotuses, appearing golden in color, with a thousand petals, to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Padma Dampa, saying: Son of good family, offer these lotuses to the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, Shakyamuni, and greet him thus: Blessed One Padma's Glory, Blessed One, do you have no illness? Do you have no heartache? Are you rising well? Are you walking well? Are you dwelling in contact with bliss? Greet him thus. And say that the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, Padma's Glory, also sends these lotuses to the Blessed One. Son of good family, be mindful in that Buddha-field. Why? Because the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas born in that world-realm are difficult to approach, and there one might fall. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Padma Dampa, taking those lotus flowers appearing golden in color, with a thousand petals, from the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, Padma's Glory, and accompanied by hundreds of thousands of kotis of nayutas of Bodhisattvas in the form of householders, renunciants, boys and girls, disappeared from that Buddha-field, and to all the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who dwell and sustain life in the lower direction, he offered flowers, incense, burning incense, garlands, ointments, powders, clothes, ornaments, umbrellas, banners, and flags, performing service, showing respect, honoring, and making offerings, with the great magical power of the Bodhisattva and the great power of the Bodhisattva, to the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha.

我前往释迦牟尼佛所在之处，以头顶礼世尊之双足，于一旁安坐。于一旁安坐后，菩萨摩诃萨妙莲问世尊言：“世尊，如来、应供、正等觉莲花光，世尊您是否安康？是否没有病痛？是否起居安宁？是否行走如常？是否安乐而住？”如此问候后，又将显现金色、具足千瓣之莲花献给世尊如来、应供、正等觉莲花光，以作供养。之后，世尊如来、应供、正等觉释迦牟尼佛取过那些莲花，向下方恒河沙数世界中如来、应供、正等觉所在之处抛洒。之后，那些莲花遍布所有世界，莲花上安住着许多如来之身，在那些佛土中，宣讲着这般与般若波罗蜜多相应的法。凡是众生听闻此法者，皆必定证得无上正等菩提。那些以在家、出家、童男、童女之身，与菩萨妙莲一同从莲花世界而来之菩萨们，也各自以其善根，对世尊如来、应供、正等觉释迦牟尼佛行供养、恭敬、尊重、顶礼，之后于一旁安坐。之后，在上方超越恒河沙数世界之外，在所有世界之外，名为光喜之世界中，有如来、应供、正等觉喜

I went to where the Buddha Shakyamuni was, and bowed to the Blessed One's feet with my head, and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Wonderful Lotus asked the Blessed One, "Blessed One, Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Lotus Light, Blessed One, are you well? Do you not have any pain? Are you getting up well? Are you walking well? Are you dwelling in comfort?" After asking this, he also offered these lotuses, which appear golden in color and have a thousand petals, to the Blessed One, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Lotus Light, for the sake of offering. Then, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni took those lotuses and scattered them to where the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Enlightened Buddhas were in the world of the Ganges River sand below. Then, those lotuses spread and pervaded all those worlds, and many bodies of the Tathagatas resided on those lotuses, and in those Buddha fields, they taught this very Dharma that is endowed with the Perfection of Wisdom. All sentient beings who heard that Dharma were certain to attain unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment. Those Bodhisattvas who were in the form of householders, renunciants, boys, and girls, who came from the lotus world together with the Bodhisattva Wonderful Lotus, also, with their own roots of virtue, served the Blessed One, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni. They honored him, respected him, revered him, made offerings to him, and then sat down on one side. Then, beyond the worlds of the Ganges River sand in the upper direction, beyond all those worlds, in the world called Light Joy, there is the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Joy.
