An entrant to the stream is not found in a once-returner, nor is it perceived. A Tathagata is not found in a Tathagata, nor is it perceived. A Tathagata is not found in an entrant to the stream, a once-returner, a non-returner, an Arhat, a Pratyekabuddha, or a Bodhisattva, nor is it perceived. A Bodhisattva is not found in a Bodhisattva, nor is it perceived. A Bodhisattva is not found in the Perfection of Wisdom, nor is it perceived. The Perfection of Wisdom is not found in the Perfection of Wisdom, nor is it perceived. The Perfection of Wisdom is not found in a Bodhisattva, nor is it perceived. A Bodhisattva and the Perfection of Wisdom are not found in instruction and subsequent instruction, nor is it perceived. Instruction and subsequent instruction are not found in instruction and subsequent instruction, nor is it perceived. Instruction and subsequent instruction are not found in a Bodhisattva and the Perfection of Wisdom, nor is it perceived. Shariputra, if that is the case, then all dharmas are without existence and without object, therefore the term Bodhisattva is without existence and cannot be perceived, which means that the obtainer is refuted by the definite arising of attainment. Shariputra, if someone were to say, "Why is it that the term Bodhisattva is just a name?" Shariputra, the term Bodhisattva is a temporary designation, therefore the term Bodhisattva is just a name. The name of all dharmas does not come from anywhere in the ten directions, nor does it go anywhere, nor does it abide anywhere. Likewise, the name of a Bodhisattva does not come from anywhere, nor does it go anywhere, nor does it abide anywhere. Shariputra, just as the terms form, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness are temporary designations, likewise, names do not come from anywhere, nor do they go anywhere, nor do they abide anywhere. That which is just a name is not form.
