It is not. Why is that? For example, all dharmas are non-abiding. Subhuti, however, the Great Vehicle abides in a non-abiding manner. Subhuti, for example, the realm of dharma is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Subhuti, likewise, the Great Vehicle is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Subhuti, for example, unborn, unceasing, without affliction, without purification, and without manifestation of activity are neither abiding nor non-abiding. Subhuti, likewise, the Great Vehicle is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Why is that? Subhuti, the realm of dharma is empty of the realm of dharma. Why is that? Subhuti, the nature of the realm of dharma is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Why is that? Subhuti, the nature of the realm of dharma is empty of the nature of the realm of dharma. Likewise, unborn, unceasing, without affliction, without purification, and without manifestation of activity are empty of the absence of manifestation of activity. Why is that? Subhuti, the nature of the absence of manifestation of activity is neither abiding nor non-abiding. Why is that? Subhuti, thus it is empty of the nature of the absence of manifestation of activity. Subhuti, in that case, the Great Vehicle does not abide anywhere, and it does not abide in a state of non-abiding and non-moving. This is said to be the antidote to the first conceptualization taken on the path of meditation. Subhuti, what you said, "What will that vehicle definitely bring about?" That vehicle will not definitely bring about anything. Why is that? Subhuti, it is like this, because all those dharmas, what that vehicle is, what will definitely arise, what will cause it to definitely arise, and from what it will definitely arise, are all non-existent and invisible. Thus, if all dharmas are non-existent and invisible, then what dharma will be caused to definitely arise by what dharma? Why is that? Subhuti.

At that time, it is like this: because I am beyond the limits and completely pure, sentient beings, life, action, nourishment, individuals, persons, those born of strength, offspring of strength, doers, experiencers, knowers, and seers are beyond the limits and completely pure, therefore I have no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, sentient beings, life, action, nourishment, individuals, persons, those born of strength, offspring of strength, doers, experiencers, knowers, and seers have no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, the realm of phenomena has no object. Likewise, because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, those who have no birth, no cessation, no universal defilement, no purification, and no manifestation have no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases have no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, dependent origination has no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, the perfection of generosity has no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, the perfection of discipline, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, and the perfection of wisdom have no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, inner emptiness has no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, outer emptiness has no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, inner and outer emptiness has no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, there is no object between the emptiness of the nature of non-things. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, mindfulness has no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, right abandonment, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path have no object. Because it is beyond the limits and completely pure, meditation, immeasurables, and formless absorptions all have no object.
