Wishing to make those who delight in indulgence delight in keeping vows, those who have much hatred delight in patience, those who are lazy delight in diligence, those whose minds are distracted delight in meditation, and bodhisattvas mahasattvas who delight in perfect wisdom make those with lax wisdom delight in perfect wisdom, they should also train in the perfection of wisdom. This is the teaching on increasing the mind of enlightenment that aims at the benefit of others. Shariputra, furthermore, bodhisattvas mahasattvas who wish to fully awaken to all dharmas in all ways should also train in the perfection of wisdom. This is like the earth with desire. Having intention, like pure gold. Similarly, Shariputra, here, bodhisattvas mahasattvas abide in the perfection of wisdom in a way that does not abide, because they do not fixate on giving, bestowing, and receiving, they perfect the perfection of giving in a way that does not abandon. Similarly, by not fixating on the perfection of morality, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, wisdom, and lax wisdom, they perfect the perfection of wisdom. This is like pure gold with intention. Having superior intention, like the waxing moon. Similarly, Shariputra, bodhisattvas mahasattvas, abiding in the perfection of wisdom, should perfect the four mindfulnesses, the four right abandonments, the four legs of miraculous power, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path. They should meditate on the samadhi of emptiness, meditate on the samadhi of signlessness, and meditate on the samadhi of wishlessness. Similarly, they should meditate on the four meditations, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, and the nine unattractive contemplations.
