saying it will not be exhausted, whether it be a renunciate, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or Brahma, or anyone else, who would oppose with the Dharma in the world, such a cause is not seen at all. Here, that cause is not seen at all, therefore, I abide having obtained happiness, having obtained freedom from anxiety, having obtained fearlessness, and I pledge to the position of the supreme leader. I roar the lion's roar in the assembly. The wheel of Brahma, whether it be a renunciate, or a Brahmin, or a god, or a demon, or Brahma, or anyone else, cannot be turned in the world with the Dharma, I shall turn it excellently, these are the four fearlessnesses. Subhuti, this is also the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva by way of non-apprehension. Subhuti, furthermore, the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is as follows: four kinds of separate perfect knowledge, what are the four? Separate perfect knowledge of meaning, separate perfect knowledge of Dharma, separate perfect knowledge of the words that express it, and separate perfect knowledge of wisdom. Subhuti, this is also the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva by way of non-apprehension. Subhuti, furthermore, the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is as follows: the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, what are the eighteen? From the night when the Tathagata manifestly awakened to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, until the night when the Tathagata taught the world including the gods, the world including the demons, the world including Brahma, and the beings including renunciates and Brahmins, and including gods and humans, and including non-gods, by the path that leads to the exhaustion of suffering, until they completely pass into the realm of nirvana without remainder, the Tathagata has no confusion, no clamor, no forgetfulness, no various intentions, no non-absorption, no unexamined equanimity, no desire that is completely diminished, no diligence that is completely diminished, no mindfulness
