It is the samadhi of non-existence. Among them, what is the samadhi with investigation and analysis? Subhuti, here, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, desiring to be separated from desires, separated from unwholesome dharmas, with investigation and analysis, having joy and happiness born from separation, having attained and abiding in the first dhyana, this is called the samadhi with investigation and analysis. Among them, what is the samadhi without investigation but only with analysis? It is what is between the first dhyana and the second dhyana, this is called the samadhi without investigation but only with analysis. Among them, what is the samadhi without investigation and without analysis? It is the attainment from the second dhyana up to the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, this is called the samadhi without investigation and without analysis. Mahamati, to fully understand what is and is not in its place; to fully understand the past, the future, and the correct acceptance arising therefrom, in terms of place and cause; to fully understand the world with its various realms and diverse inclinations; to fully understand the various and multiple inclinations of other sentient beings and individuals; to fully understand the superior and non-superior faculties of other sentient beings and individuals; to fully understand the correct path of all journeys; to fully understand the meditation, liberation, samadhi, samapatti, defilement, and purification of other sentient beings and individuals; to remember various past abodes, and to fully understand the death and birth of sentient beings with that eye; because of the exhaustion of defilements, because of being without defilements, the liberation of mind and the liberation of wisdom, having realized it with one's own knowledge in the present life, dwelling near, my birth is exhausted, the pure conduct is established, what needs to be done is done, knowing that there is nothing else like this. To fully understand as it is, Subhuti, this is also the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva in the manner of non-objectification. Subhuti, furthermore, the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is like this: the four fearlessnesses. What are the four? Alas! Having vowed that I have realized enlightenment with these dharmas, if any renunciant, Brahmin, god, demon, Brahma, or anyone else in the world could argue with me with dharma, saying that I have not realized enlightenment with these dharmas, such a cause is not truly seen. Because that cause is not truly seen here, I have obtained happiness and obtained fearlessness.

Abiding with the attainment of fearlessness, I pledge to the position of the supreme elephant. Within the retinue, I proclaim the lion's roar. In the world, whether it be a renunciate, a Brahmin, a god, a demon, a Brahma, or anyone else, I shall thoroughly turn the wheel of Dharma, which cannot be turned in the world with Dharma. If I pledge thus: Alas! My defilements are exhausted. If, after making this pledge, (I think) these defilements of mine are not exhausted, not yet completely extinguished. Here, whether it be a renunciate, a Brahmin, a god, a demon, a Brahma, or anyone else, no one in the world can refute me with the Dharma, such a cause I do not truly see. Here, because I do not truly see this cause, I have attained happiness, attained freedom from anxiety, and abiding with the attainment of fearlessness, I pledge to the position of the supreme elephant. Within the retinue, I proclaim the lion's roar. In the world, whether it be a renunciate, a Brahmin, a god, a demon, a Brahma, or anyone else, I shall thoroughly turn the wheel of Dharma, which cannot be turned in the world with Dharma. Whatever I have shown as the Dharma of obstruction, if those are practiced, they will not turn into the Dharma of obstruction, such a place does not exist. In the world, whether it be a renunciate, a Brahmin, a god, a demon, a Brahma, or anyone else, I shall thoroughly turn the wheel of Dharma, which cannot be turned in the world with Dharma. What I have shown, which is the cause of the complete cessation of suffering by practicing the path of definite emergence of the noble ones, if I accomplish this definite emergence, it will not turn into the meaning of the complete cessation of suffering, such a place does not exist. Here, even if I truly accomplish that, suffering also
