Furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, endowed with diligence, possessing mindfulness, and having awareness, thus eliminates attachment and displeasure towards the world. He abides contemplating the body on the external body, yet he does not conceptually discriminate the appearances associated with the body in a non-grasping manner. Subhuti, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, if he sees bones in a cemetery that are many years old, vaguely appearing, turned blue, bones that have become the color of crows, bones that have crumbled into powder and mixed with soil, then (he thinks) this very body also has such a nature, has such a self-nature, and will not transcend such a dharma-nature, thereby closely associating this body with that state. Subhuti, therefore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, endowed with diligence, possessing mindfulness, and having awareness, thus eliminates attachment and displeasure towards the world. He abides contemplating the body on the internal body. He abides contemplating the body on the external body. He abides contemplating the body on the internal and external bodies. Similarly, endowed with diligence, possessing mindfulness, and having awareness, thus eliminates attachment and displeasure towards the world, and abides contemplating the Dharma on feelings, mind, and dharmas, yet he does not conceptually discriminate the appearances associated with the Dharma in a non-grasping manner. Subhuti, this is also the Great Vehicle of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Subhuti, furthermore, the Great Vehicle of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is as follows: the four right abandonments. What are the four? Subhuti, here, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, in order not to generate unwholesome and evil dharmas that have not yet arisen, he generates aspiration, strives, exerts effort, holds the mind, and correctly establishes it. In order to abandon unwholesome and evil dharmas that have already arisen, he generates aspiration, strives, exerts effort, holds the mind, and correctly establishes it. In order to generate wholesome dharmas that have not yet arisen, he generates aspiration, strives.

Strive! Strive diligently! Completely hold the mind! Completely and correctly establish it! In order for those virtuous dharmas that have arisen to abide, not to decline, not to be forgotten, not to deteriorate, and in order to perfect them, generate the desire. Strive! Strive diligently! Completely hold the mind! Completely and correctly establish it! Subhuti, this is also the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Subhuti, Furthermore, the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is as follows: the four miraculous feet. What are the four? Subhuti, here, when the Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, the miraculous foot of the concentration of aspiration Samadhi of Desire) combined with the activity of abandonment, abiding in solitude, abiding in detachment, abiding in cessation, transformed by complete abandonment, also meditates in a non-apprehending manner. Similarly, the miraculous foot of the concentration of effort Samadhi of Effort), the concentration of mind Samadhi of Mind), and the concentration of discrimination Samadhi of Discrimination) combined with the activity of abandonment, abiding in solitude, abiding in detachment, abiding in cessation, transformed by complete abandonment, also meditates in a non-apprehending manner.
