Furthermore, it is the perfection of diligence practiced within the perfection of meditation. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, practicing within the perfection of meditation, makes the mind one-pointed with the thought endowed with all aspects of knowledge. Because of that single-pointedness, he does not understand the thoughts possessed by the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. He also makes that root of virtue common with all sentient beings and dedicates it to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is the perfection of meditation practiced by the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva within the perfection of meditation. Furthermore, Shariputra, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices within the perfection of meditation, he cultivates the perfection of wisdom, not with the thoughts possessed by the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, but with the thought endowed with all aspects of knowledge. He abides closely with the perception of all phenomena as illusory. He does not become arrogant with that meditation, nor does he focus on that meditation. He also makes that root of virtue common with all sentient beings and dedicates it to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. This is the perfection of wisdom practiced by the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva within the perfection of meditation. Shariputra, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices in this way within the perfection of meditation completely holds all six perfections. Therefore, it should be called "having put on great armor." This is said to be the fifth of the armor of the six perfections of meditation. Sixth, the six armors of the perfection of wisdom. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, practicing within the perfection of wisdom, not with the thoughts possessed by the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, but with the thought endowed with all aspects of knowledge, completely gives generosity with the purity of the three spheres. He also makes that root of virtue common with all sentient beings.
