Endowed with life, Shariputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom and practices generosity, with a mind endowed with all-knowingness, the perception that all phenomena are like illusions is closely present. The giver is not fixated upon, the receiver is not fixated upon, and the object of giving is not fixated upon. This is the armor of the Perfection of Wisdom when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Wisdom and practices generosity. Endowed with life, Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with a mind endowed with all-knowingness, does not make signs of those perfections and does not fixate upon them, at that time, it should be known that the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva has donned the great armor of engaging in the Perfection of Wisdom. This is the first of the six armors of the Perfection of Generosity. Second, the armor of the six Perfections of Discipline. Endowed with life, Shariputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Discipline, with a mind endowed with all-knowingness, whatever generosity is practiced, it is made common with all sentient beings and dedicated in a way that does not fixate upon unsurpassable, perfectly complete enlightenment. This is the Perfection of Generosity when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Discipline. Endowed with life, Shariputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with a mind endowed with all-knowingness, engages in the Perfection of Discipline, and does not generate faith even in the grounds of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, what need is there to mention the state of ordinary beings? This is the Perfection of Discipline when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva engages in the Perfection of Discipline. Endowed with life, Shariputra, furthermore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with a mind endowed with all-knowingness, engages in the Perfection of Discipline, and has forbearance towards those phenomena,

This faith and discernment are the patience paramita of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the discipline paramita. Shariputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with the intention of possessing all kinds of wisdom, practices the discipline paramita and does not slacken in diligence. This is the diligence paramita of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the discipline paramita. Shariputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with the intention of possessing all kinds of wisdom, while practicing the discipline paramita and abiding, does not incline towards the mind of a Shravaka or Pratyekabuddha, and dedicates that root of virtue together with all sentient beings to the unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment. This is the meditative concentration paramita of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the discipline paramita. Shariputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with the intention of possessing all kinds of wisdom, while practicing the discipline paramita, abides closely with the perception of all dharmas as illusions, and does not become arrogant with that discipline, because its nature is emptiness. He also does not fixate on that discipline, and dedicates that root of virtue together with all sentient beings to the unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment. This is the wisdom paramita of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the discipline paramita. Shariputra, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices the discipline paramita in this way completely upholds all six paramitas, therefore it is called donning great armor. This is the second of the six armors of the discipline paramita. Third, the six armors of the patience paramita. Shariputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, the patience paramita
