One contemplates between aging and death, external emptiness. One contemplates between aging and death, internal and external emptiness. One contemplates between aging and death, the emptiness of the nature of non-things, and also focuses on internal emptiness. By focusing on it, that emptiness also becomes a source of pride. Furthermore, Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, they cultivate the mindfulnesses, being separated from the contemplation that possesses all aspects of knowledge. However, they also focus on those mindfulnesses, and by focusing on them, those mindfulnesses also become a source of pride. Similarly, they cultivate the right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the path, the meditations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the superknowledges, the ten powers of the Tathagata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. However, they also focus on those qualities of the Buddha, and by focusing on them, those qualities of the Buddha also become a source of pride. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, due to their lack of skillful means, upon hearing this exposition of the Perfection of Wisdom, they become frightened and completely terrified, and are seized by fear. How does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva become held by evil friends?" The Bhagavan replied: "Subhuti, in this case, the evil friend of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is someone who, when explaining the Perfection of Wisdom,
