These are the five aggregates. The Blessed One said: "Rabjor, what do you think? Will these five aggregates, through studying the Perfection of Wisdom, become omniscient?" He replied: "Blessed One, no, they will not. Why is that? Blessed One, because these five aggregates that are taken up are of the nature of non-reality. Likewise, the five aggregates are like a dream. A dream is also of the nature of non-reality, and is unattainable. Likewise, the five aggregates are unattainable due to their nature of non-reality." The Blessed One said: "Rabjor, what do you think? Will these five aggregates, which are like echoes, like mirages, like transformations, like reflections, become omniscient through studying the Perfection of Wisdom?" He replied: "Blessed One, no, they will not. Why is that? Blessed One, because like this, a dream is of the nature of non-reality, and an echo is of the nature of non-reality. Likewise, a mirage, a transformation, and a reflection are of the nature of non-reality, and are unattainable. Likewise, the five aggregates are unattainable because of their nature of non-reality." Blessed One, like this, form is like an illusion. Feeling is like an illusion. Perception is like an illusion. Formations are like an illusion. Consciousness is like an illusion. Whatever consciousness is, that is also the six faculties and the five aggregates. They are also unattainable by inner emptiness. From outer emptiness being unattainable, up to the emptiness of the self-nature of non-things being unattainable. Blessed One, if it is said like that, any Bodhisattva Mahasattva who does not become discouraged, does not become completely discouraged, does not regret, does not fear, does not completely fear, does not become completely seized by fear, then, Blessed One, that (Bodhisattva) will definitely arise in omniscience, will definitely arise in the knowledge of the path, and will attain all-knowingness.

It should be known that what is called the ninth non-learning path is the conceptualization that is imputed, namely the two, the grasping and the conceptualization. Completely grasping the first. Completely grasped by skillful means. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, will a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who has newly entered the Great Vehicle, upon hearing this teaching, become discouraged, utterly discouraged, and regretful, and will he not become fearful, utterly terrified, and seized by utter terror?" The Blessed One said, "Shariputra, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who has newly entered the Great Vehicle practices the Perfection of Wisdom, if he is not skilled in means and has not fallen into the hands of a virtuous friend, then he will become fearful, utterly terrified, and seized by terror." Subhuti asked, "Blessed One, by what practice does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom not become fearful, not become utterly terrified, and not become seized by utter terror? What is that skillful means?" The Blessed One said, "Subhuti, here, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, with a mind endowed with all-aspects-knowing, although he individually distinguishes form as impermanent, he does not fixate on it. With a mind endowed with all-aspects-knowing, although he individually distinguishes feeling as impermanent, he does not fixate on it. With a mind endowed with all-aspects-knowing, although he individually distinguishes perception as impermanent, he does not fixate on it. With a mind endowed with all-aspects-knowing, although he individually distinguishes formations as impermanent, he does not fixate on it. With a mind endowed with all-aspects-knowing, although he individually distinguishes consciousness as impermanent, he does not fixate on it. Subhuti, it should be known that this is the skillful means of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom. Furthermore, Subhuti, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with a mind endowed with all-aspects-knowing, although he individually distinguishes form as suffering, he does not fixate on it. All aspects

Moreover, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva endowed with the mind of omniscience, discriminates feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness as suffering, but does not fixate on them. Subhuti, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with a mind endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, discerns form as empty, form as selfless, form as peaceful, form as secluded, form as emptiness, form as signless, and form as wishless, yet does not fixate on them. With a mind endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, one discerns feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness as empty, yet does not fixate on them. Consciousness is selfless, consciousness is peaceful, consciousness is secluded, consciousness is empty, consciousness is signless, and consciousness is wishless, yet one does not fixate on them. Subhuti, this is the skillful means by which a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with a mind endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, practices the Perfection of Wisdom, and it should be understood. Subhuti, moreover, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, whatever Dharma is taught in a non-fixated manner with the intention of being endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, this is the Perfection of Giving of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Those with intentions endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, whatever is the absence of clinging to the best of these, this is the Perfection of Ethics of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Those with intentions endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, whatever is the patience, desire, and discrimination of these themselves, this is the Perfection of Patience of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva. Those with intentions endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, whatever is the non-abandonment of these themselves, this is the Perfection of Diligence of a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva.
