It is. Among them, to contemplate and cling to emptiness of the interior, emptiness of the exterior, emptiness of both the interior and exterior, and emptiness of the nature of non-things, this is said to be the fifth contemplation, which is to separately contemplate the meaning of emptiness. To contemplate and cling to the six perfections, this is said to be the sixth contemplation, which is to separately contemplate the meaning of the six perfections. To contemplate and cling to the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, this is said to be the seventh contemplation, which is to separately contemplate the path of seeing. To contemplate meditation, supernormal knowledges, the immeasurables, and the formless absorptions, and to cling to the future, this is said to be the eighth contemplation, which is to separately contemplate the path of cultivation. To contemplate and cling to the ten powers of the Tathagata, and even to contemplate and cling to omniscience, this is said to be the ninth contemplation, which is to contemplate the path of no more learning. These are the second of the apprehended contemplations. The first of the apprehending contemplations. Nine contemplations belonging to forbearance. Shariputra, I do not observe a self. Likewise, I do not observe sentient beings, life, nourishment, individuals, persons, those born of power, sons of power, agents, knowers, cognizers, seers. Why is that? Because it is utterly pure, there is no self and no observation, this is said to be a contemplation belonging to forbearance, of which the first contemplation is to separately contemplate the self as having autonomy. Shariputra, I do not observe form, and so forth, up to and including consciousness, this is said to be the second contemplation, which is to separately contemplate the self as being singular. Shariputra, I do not observe the eye, likewise, up to and including the mind, I do not observe form, up to and including phenomena, this is said to be the third contemplation, which is to separately contemplate the nature of the cause. Shariputra, I do not observe the eye, form, and eye consciousness. Mind, phenomena, and mind consciousness.

The so-called "invisible" means that it is the fourth distinction of it, which is the distinction of the self such as the viewer. Shariputra, dependent origination is invisible. The so-called "up to the realm of formlessness" means that it is the fifth distinction of it, which is the distinction of the self of the basis of all defilements. The first dhyana is invisible. The so-called "up to the absorption of formlessness" means that it is the sixth distinction of it, which is the distinction of the self of the basis of detachment from desire. The noble truths are invisible, which means that it is the seventh distinction of it, which is the distinction of the self of the basis of seeing. The eight liberations and the nine successive abidings are invisible, which means that it is the eighth distinction of it, which is the distinction of the self of the basis of meditation. The ten powers are invisible. Up to the all-knowingness is invisible. How is it invisible? By the nature of self. Why is it so? Because the self is extremely pure. This is the ninth distinction of it, which is the distinction of the basis of accomplishing meaning. These are the first distinctions of grasping. The second distinction of grasping. The nine distinctions belonging to the supreme Dharma. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: "Lord, if someone asks this question: 'Will this illusory person study the Prajnaparamita and attain all-knowingness? Will he attain all-knowingness?' Lord, how should I explain to such a questioner? Will this illusory person study the Dhyana Paramita, the Virya Paramita, the Kshanti Paramita, the Shila Paramita, and the Dana Paramita, and attain all-knowingness? Will this illusory person study the limbs of enlightenment and attain all-knowingness?" Illusory

If this person is taught among those who do not mix the Buddha's teachings, will he become omniscient? Will he attain omniscience? If asked thus, Blessed One, how should I answer such a question? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, since it is so, ask yourself. As you approve, so declare. This is said to be the second conceptualization of grasping, for the sake of removal. Subhuti, what do you think? Is form different from illusion, and is illusion different from form? Are feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness different from illusion, and is illusion different from consciousness? He replied: Blessed One, it is not so. This is called the first conceptualization, which is a conceptualization associated with the supreme of dharmas. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Is the eye different from illusion, and is illusion different from the eye? Are the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind different from illusion, and is illusion different from the mind? Is form different from illusion, and is illusion different from form? Are sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharmas different from illusion, and is illusion different from dharmas? Subhuti replied: Blessed One, it is not so. This is called the second conceptualization of that, which is a conceptualization made upon the designation of the sense bases. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Are the eye, form, and eye-consciousness different from illusion, and is illusion different from eye-consciousness? Ear, sound, ear-consciousness, nose, smell, nose-consciousness, tongue, taste, tongue-consciousness, body, touch, body-consciousness, mind, dharma, and mind-consciousness, are they also different from illusion, and is illusion different from mind-consciousness? Subhuti replied: Blessed One, it is not so. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Is the contact born of the meeting of the eye also different from illusion, and is illusion different from the contact born of the meeting of the eye? The contact born of the meeting of the ear, the contact born of the meeting of the nose, the contact born of the meeting of the tongue, the contact born of the meeting of the body, the contact born of the meeting of the mind,
