Also, it is stated in the Sutra: "Subhuti, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas should not diligently abide in form, etc.," as stated in the like. Sixth, it is also stated in the Sutra that the lineage of Shravakas, etc., is frightened by the means of generating Bodhicitta, etc.: "Subhuti, therefore, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas wish to go without relying on others," as stated in the like. Seventh, because there is no such superior Dharma, there is no desire, as stated in the Sutra: "Question: Bhagavan, should one learn Prajnaparamita by means of Prajnaparamita?" as stated in the like. Eighth, relying on the ultimate truth, there is no cause, as stated in the Sutra: "Subhuti, therefore, those who are of the Shravaka vehicle, and those who are of the Pratyekabuddha vehicle, and also those who are of the Bodhisattva vehicle, should also learn this Prajnaparamita," as stated in the like. Ninth, because of extreme familiarity with stinginess, the objects of refutation by Mara, etc., are attached to the objects of focus and appear as objects, as stated in the Sutra: "Subhuti, just as an archer who is skilled in archery, holding a bow that has reached maturity, is difficult for the enemies who refute him to overcome," as stated in the like. The Path of Meditation. The nature of the sixth path of meditation, which is shown by eight meanings to reach the peak, is shown above by the Samadhi of Sudden Transcendence. In the beginning of the apprehension of what is to be grasped, the first of the nine divisions is abbreviated by being pleased to benefit sentient beings who are pleased with brevity, and the second is pleased with expansion, and expansion is also stated in the Sutra: "Those who practice Prajnaparamita are also contemplated by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present," as stated in the like. Third, because one does not diligently focus on the meaning as it is taught, it is taught by the Buddha but not fully embraced, as stated in the Sutra: "Question: Bhagavan, is this the entry of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva with sharp faculties?" as stated in the like. Fourth, there is no merit of the path of union by the very arising and ceasing, as stated in the Sutra: "Subhuti, thus

Therefore, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, he should hope: I too will obtain the Dharma attained by the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Tathagatas of the past, future, and present. Etc., the scriptures have explained this reason. Fifth, not possessing the cause of true birth, therefore lacking the merits of the path of seeing, the sutra also says: Such a diligent Bodhisattva-Mahasattva will quickly realize the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Etc., the scriptures have explained this reason. Sixth, because there is no future, there is no merit of the path of meditation, the sutra also says: Subhuti, furthermore, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, while practicing the Prajnaparamita, even for a snap of the fingers, meditates on the Prajnaparamita. Etc., the scriptures have explained this reason. Seventh, The path of peace, etc., leading to Nirvana, the sutra also says: Asked, "Bhagavan, how should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practice the Prajnaparamita? How should one realize the Prajnaparamita?" Etc., the scriptures have explained this reason. Eighth, merely realizing emptiness is the path of seeing, the sutra also says: If someone says, "How should one realize the Prajnaparamita?" Etc., the scriptures have explained this reason. Ninth, because of no self-nature, it is the path of meditation, the sutra also says: If someone says, "How should one meditate on the Prajnaparamita?" Etc., the scriptures have explained this reason. When meditating on the path, the dualistic grasping of what is taken is divided into nine parts, the first, because of being separated from a virtuous friend, the mind of enlightenment does not arise, the sutra also says: Asked, "Bhagavan, for how long should a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practice the Prajnaparamita to be considered practicing the Prajnaparamita?" Etc., the scriptures have explained this reason. Second, because there is no special merit with the Buddha as the object, one does not remember the essence of enlightenment, the sutra also says: Asked, "Bhagavan, if the continuity of thoughts is uninterrupted and not separated, continuously"
