It is shown by "How should one practice," etc. The third is the Hearer lineage, and the fourth is the Solitary Realizer lineage. Therefore, the Sutra also pre-distinguishes the giving to them: "Is it conditioned or unconditioned? Is it the Dharma of the Hearers or the Dharma of the Solitary Realizers? There is nothing to be established between all Dharmas." The following are all shown in this way. Fifth, with unobstructed Prajnaparamita, not attending to the Perfect and Complete Enlightenment, the Sutra says: "The Blessed One said: 'Subhuti, non-action is the practice of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva in the Prajnaparamita.'" The following are all shown in this way. Sixth, meditating with signs; seventh, without signs, there is no meditation; eighth, without both signs and non-signs, there is neither meditation nor non-meditation. The Sutra says: "Blessed One, by what measure does it become without signs? By what measure does it become with signs?" The following are all shown in this way. Ninth, with the attachment of inverted appearances, the discriminating mind that grasps onto the meaning that is not as it is, the Sutra says: "Blessed One, if all Dharmas have never been made and there is no change, Blessed One, then how are these three vehicles, namely the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, and the Buddha Vehicle, established?" The following are all shown in this way. The first of the discriminating minds of the grasper is divided into nine. First, because it is not born as a substance, it is established as a sentient being. The Sutra says: "When this was taught, the Venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: 'Blessed One, if even the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly and Completely Awakened One, with the five eyes, does not see any sentient beings who are completely liberated from Samsara.'" The following are all shown in this way. Second, because it is only appearance, it is established as Dharma. The Sutra says: "The Blessed One said: 'Subhuti, thus, the Tathagata knows all Dharmas as illusions, so there are no sentient beings to be tamed.'" The following are all shown in this way. Third, because it pervades everything, with all-knowing wisdom, etc., Dharma is not emptiness.

Also, as stated in the Sutra: "Asked: World Honored One, if all dharmas are like illusions, then World Honored One, what is the difference between the Tathagata and an illusion?" and so on, has been explained. Fourth, clinging to dharmas without abandoning attachment to all appearances is also stated in the Sutra: "The Buddha taught: Subhuti, for example, the Tathagata, with peaceful wisdom, without clinging to Bodhisattvas, emanates illusions and completely enters into Nirvana." and so on, has been explained. Fifth, the following explanations of the Sutra and the reversed order of the Sutra, taking the Sutra as the basis, not entering correctly, therefore being impure, is also stated in the Sutra: "Asked: World Honored One, if there is no difference between illusion and the Tathagata, then how can giving be completely purified?" and so on, has been explained. Because of realizing emptiness, thoroughly distinguishing dharmas is also stated in the Sutra: "Subhuti, therefore, in this way, taking the nature of dharmas as the measure, it should be understood that there is no difference between the Tathagata and the Tathagata's illusion." and so on, has been explained. Clinging to giving and so on, practicing with attachment to reality, leading to confused behavior, is also stated in the Sutra: "Having entered the nature of dharmas, one should not disturb that nature. This is the nature of the Prajnaparamita, it should not be disturbed." and so on, has been explained. Because of clinging to form and so on, one will definitely be liberated from the three vehicles, is also stated in the Sutra: "Asked: World Honored One, if the nature of dharmas should not be disturbed, then World Honored One, for what reason did the Tathagata say this is form?" and so on, has been explained. Not making special efforts, but striving for things, is also stated in the Sutra: "Asked: World Honored One, if in order to make others understand, the World Honored One shows the nature of dharmas with names and signs, and speaks of dharmas." and so on, has been explained. The second division of clinging to the path of meditation has nine parts. The first, because of not fully knowing all aspects, is completely confused about the obscuration of omniscience itself. The second, because of not fully knowing all paths, is confused about the obscuration of path knowledge itself.
