Shown by earth. The eleventh is combined with warmth. Twelfth, the root of virtue transcends the world, so that eighty thousand kinds of insects do not arise in the body, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, those who have become human beings have eighty thousand kinds of insects in their bodies, and those insects dwell within that very body, and so on. Thirteenth, the root of virtue is completely pure, so that the mind is without agitation, as it is also said in the sutra: Having said this, the venerable Subhuti said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, how is it that a Bodhisattva Mahasattva has a body that is completely pure, speech that is completely pure, and a mind that is completely pure, and so on. Fourteenth, not looking to gain, etc., but truly receiving the qualities of training, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva is not deluded by gain and respect, and so on. Fifteenth, because of accomplishing generosity and so on, there is no miserliness and so on that contradicts it, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not generate a mind of miserliness, and so on. Sixteenth, because all dharmas are truly gathered, there is no contradiction with the nature of dharma, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva is of steadfast intelligence, and so on. Seventeenth, having made beings one's own, therefore desiring hell for the sake of others, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, in front of a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the evil demon manifests eight great hells, and so on. Thus, it is combined with the six peaks. Eighteenth, because of trusting in realization, one is not led by others, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, if furthermore, an evil demon comes before a Bodhisattva Mahasattva in the guise of a mendicant, and so on. Nineteenth, because of knowing the method of becoming a Buddha, one knows how to adjust according to the path, and knows that a demon is a demon itself, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, an evil demon comes before a Bodhisattva Mahasattva in the guise of a monk,

Thus, it is shown by "This is the conduct of samsara," etc. These two are combined with patience. The twentieth, with the three wheels pure, all actions please the Buddha, also as it says in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva, practicing the Prajnaparamita, thinks thus, if the Tathagata, as he has shown, thus learns and does not depart from that practice, etc. This is combined with the supreme of worldly dharmas. The twentieth, these are abiding on the path of application, showing the sign of non-retrogression from unsurpassed Bodhi. The sign of non-retrogression while abiding on the path of seeing is that each of the four truths also has sixteen aspects with the distinction of four aspects each. With emptiness of self-nature, turning back from the discrimination of dharmas such as form, also as it says in the sutra: When this was said, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, for what reason is a non-returning Bodhisattva Mahasattva called non-returning? etc. is shown below. Second, with the blessing of the Buddhas, etc., showing the mind of unsurpassed Bodhi, also as it says in the sutra: At the beginning of the fiftieth chapter, Subhuti, again, an evil demon comes to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva and disturbs his faith, etc. is shown. Third, practicing Dharma in front of the Mahayana, retreating from the inferior vehicle, also as it says in the sutra: Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, how is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva called non-returning? etc. is shown. Fourth, with the power of discrimination, the limbs of being born in dhyana, etc. are completely exhausted, also as it says in the sutra: Subhuti, again, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, if he wishes to enter the first dhyana, etc. These four are combined with the aspect of suffering. Fifth, being separated from non-virtue, body and mind are light and at ease, also as it says in the sutra: Subhuti, again, a non-returning Bodhi-
