Thus it is, thus it is. It is taught from "For the unspeakable meaning, there is no increase or complete decrease" onwards. Even so, if someone argues that it cannot function even conventionally, then the sutra says: Subhuti asked: World Honored One, does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who first generates the mind realize the unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment? And so on, the scriptures have explained. In response, the example of a lamp illustrates the comprehension of eight profound Dharmata aspects, and the example is also from the sutra: The World Honored One said: Subhuti, for a wise person, the meaning of what is said can be understood through examples, therefore, in order to understand the meaning of what is said, I will show you an example. And so on, the scriptures have explained. The first profound Dharmata is that it is neither prior nor subsequent moments, nor is it without self-nature, but upon thorough realization, it generates a particularly excellent meaning, which is the profound dependent origination. The sutra says: The World Honored One said: Subhuti, likewise, even the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who first generates the mind does not realize the unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. And so on, the scriptures have explained. The second is to explain that things are without self-nature from the beginning, and even conventionally, they cease. The sutra says: The World Honored One said: Subhuti, what do you think? Does the mind that has ceased arise again? And so on, the scriptures have explained. The third is that even if one constantly familiarizes oneself with Suchness, it will not manifest. The sutra says: He said: Subhuti, what do you think? Does Suchness remain as it is? And so on, the scriptures have explained. The fourth is that all the Dharmas of the nature of Suchness are gathered in various ways, such as giving. The sutra says: He said: Subhuti, what do you think? If one acts in this way, is one practicing the profound Prajnaparamita? And so on, the scriptures have explained. The fifth and sixth do not agree with the sutras from beginning to end. The sixth is that for all Dharmata, non-action itself is action. The sutra says: He said

Pa. What do you think, Subhuti? The way of conduct is shown by "What does one practice in such conduct?" and so on. Fifth, seeing the invisible with the nature of suchness is also mentioned in the sutra: "Why is that? World Honored One, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva abiding in suchness practices the Perfection of Wisdom, those characteristics do not arise, because it is for the sake of universal practice." and so on. Seventh, accomplishing all non-dual nature is also mentioned in the sutra: "Having asked thus, the Blessed One said to the venerable Subhuti: Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices this Perfection of Wisdom." and so on. Eighth, perfecting all accumulations but not attaining Buddhahood is skillful means, as mentioned in the sutra: "Blessed One, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices this Perfection of Wisdom, he does not realize unexcelled perfect enlightenment until the ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great loving-kindness, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha are not perfected." and so on. Equality. The fourth of the eight general meanings, which is the complete realization of all aspects, the ninth of the eleven points is the equality of samsara and nirvana, also from the beginning of the fifty-second chapter. The sutra text is: Then the venerable Shariputra said to the venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva in a dream enters the three samadhis of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, the following is explained. Purity of the Buddha-field. The tenth point is the purity of the Buddha-field, and the sutra text is: Subhuti, does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva see hungry sentient beings when practicing the Perfection of Giving? and so on. Skillful means. The eleventh point is skillful means, which are object, combination, and distinction.
