Those two are combined with patience. The twentieth is that all actions please the Buddha through the purity of the three spheres, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, when a non-regressing Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he thinks, 'If the Tathagata teaches as he has said, then I will learn and not be separated from that practice,' and so on. This is combined with the supreme Dharma of the world. Those twenty are signs of non-regression from the unsurpassed Bodhi, being situated on the path of joining. The signs of non-regression while abiding on the path of seeing are sixteen aspects, with each of the four truths having four divisions. Turning away from the conception of forms and other phenomena as being empty of their own nature, as it is also said in the sutra: After he had spoken thus, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, from what does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva regress, that he is called non-regressing? and so on. Secondly, showing the unsurpassed Bodhicitta through the blessings of the Buddhas and others, as it is also said in the sutra: At the beginning of the fiftieth chapter: Subhuti, furthermore, an evil Mara comes to the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva and disturbs his faith, and so on. Thirdly, turning away from the lower vehicle by practicing Dharma in the presence of the Great Vehicle, as it is also said in the sutra: Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, is the Bodhisattva-Mahasattva also non-regressing? and so on. Fourthly, by the power of discernment, the limbs of being born in meditative states and so on are completely exhausted, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, if he wishes, can enter into the first dhyana, and so on. These four are combined with the aspect of suffering. Fifthly, being separated from non-virtue, the body and mind are light, as it is also said in the sutra: Subhuti, furthermore, a non-regressing Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is the Bodhisattva's attention and
