The nature of vastness itself. Disciples, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, in that order, are considered to be thirty-seven, thirty-four, and thirty-nine. This is what is taught. How is it? Through the distinctions of the three omniscient ones, in accordance with the truth of the path. Thus it is said. The truth of the path that accords with that is these three paths: the path of knowing all things, and the path of knowing all aspects. Among them, the path of knowing all things, from the thirty-seven aspects, the path of fully knowing the basis is mindfulness. Whatever is mindfulness is the aspect, as it is taught. Body, feeling, mind, and phenomena, because they are apprehended without an object. Thus it is said. Those four aspects are the complete realization of the basis. The path of effort, the right abandonment, whatever is right abandonment is the aspect, as it is taught. Virtuous and non-virtuous dharmas, because they are apprehended without an object. Thus it is said. Likewise, having fully examined the objects, one begins the effort of abandonment without obstruction. The path of fully training in samadhi is the miraculous feet, whatever is the miraculous feet is the aspect, as it is taught. Aspiration, effort, mind, and analysis, because they are apprehended without an object, as it is taught. Likewise, by fully training in obscurations, through the gateway of aspiration and so forth, one makes their abiding suitable. The path associated with manifestation, the faculties, whatever is the aspect of the faculties, as it is taught. Faith and so forth, because they are apprehended without an object, thus it is said. Having done so, through the path of fully training in samadhi, that is mastered by the authentic arising of the noble ones, the practice preceded by warmth, the path associated with the manifestation of the peak is the powers. Whatever are the powers are the aspect, as it is taught. The powers, because they are apprehended without an object, thus it is said. Having thus gained mastery, if one subsequently realizes the truth, then disbelief and other unfavorable qualities

Since endurance and becoming the union of the supreme Dharma, the path of realization is the limbs of enlightenment. Whatever the aspect of the limbs of enlightenment is the aspect, thus it is taught. The limbs of enlightenment are for the sake of taking hold of the objectless. Here, in order to realize the suchness that is known by oneself in each object, the path of pure determination to emerge is the Noble Eightfold Path. Whatever the Noble Path is the aspect, thus it is taught. The Noble Eightfold Path is for the sake of taking hold of the objectless. After that, it is definitely emerging in order to purify the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation. Therefore, the order of these aspects of enlightenment is like this: By doing so, it is the path of fully understanding things, the path of diligence, the path of the action of completely training samadhi, the path of associating with realization, the path related to realization, the path of realization, and the path of discernment. In this way, according to the order, the divisions of four, four, four, five, five, seven, and eight, all of these are the aspects of the support of the path of knowing, and are taught as the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. Here, among the six paths of knowing the path itself, there are three antidote paths. The antidote produced by view is emptiness. The antidote to signs and concepts is signlessness. The antidote to aspiration in the three realms is wishlessness. The three liberations are aspects, thus it is taught. View, concept, and aspiration are for the sake of taking hold of the objectless. Here, emptiness and selflessness are the first door of liberation. The aspects of impermanence, suffering, cause, origin, arising, and condition are wishlessness. The aspects of cessation and path should be known as signlessness. The absence of conceptualization of the path is called signlessness. As it is said: Signlessness is the aspect of peace, this is the same as that.

There is no contradiction. That which is without characteristics is cessation, because the path makes it without characteristics. Benefiting sentient beings is the fruit of the wisdom of the path, but abandonment is not the fruit. Benefiting sentient beings is also not without manifestation, so there are two kinds of manifestation paths: The perception of form that is not completely destroyed is self-nature meditation, or relying on the power of the formless attainments to manifest the perception of form. That is, those with form look at the good and bad colors of form. The perception of form that is completely destroyed is to manifest the perception of external form like oneself, that is, thinking that there is no form inside and looking at external forms. These two are the antidote to the obscuration of manifestation, so it should be known as the second gate of liberation. The all-pervasive afflictions of manifestation are of two kinds: liking attractive forms and disliking transforming into unattractive forms. The antidote to that is to abide, having perfected the attractive liberation body, that is, for one's own attractive and unattractive forms, relying on mutually dependent intentions, and the consciousness that connects one to the other, thereby obtaining intentions of the same taste, so one obtains mastery over particularly rejoicing in any desired form. Of the two paths of abiding in bliss in this life, the path of abiding in accordance with the part of liberation is the four formless attainments. The obscuration of liberation of peaceful abiding, because there is no attachment, is called the cessation of perception and feeling. Three made by the manifestation of others, and five paths made for the sake of others, abiding in bliss in this life for one's own benefit, become eight liberations in total. Therefore, it is shown that the eight liberations are aspects. It is said that it is for the sake of holding the eight liberations that have no object (support). The nine successive attainments of the path that transcends the world are the attainment of cessation.
