And the truths, and the individual correct knowledge, and the manifest knowledge, and the powers, and the fearlessnesses, and the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, and whether or not they are joined to the all-knowingness, because they are not subsequently observed. The sutra says, as follows: Although he practices the perfection of wisdom, he does not see himself as having or not having the perfection of generosity, etc. And emptiness, and signlessness, and wishlessness, these emptinesses, etc., are to prevent union with them. The sutra says, when he practices the perfection of wisdom, he does not unite emptiness with emptiness, nor does he separate with emptiness. Signlessness and signlessness do not gather or separate. Wishlessness and wishlessness do not gather or separate, etc. This is what is said. This clearly shows that the truth of the path is non-conceptual. The aggregates such as form are strongly forbidden to be joined and separated at the former limit. The sutra says, Shariputra, the form of the Bodhisattva does not join or separate at the former limit. Thus, he does not even see the former limit itself, etc. This is what is said. The times are joined and forbidden to each other. The sutra says, he does not join or separate the former limit with the latter limit, holding the equality of the three times, etc. This is what is said. It is forbidden to combine each time with all-knowingness. The sutra says, all-knowingness does not join or separate with the past, because thus, the past itself is not even seen, etc. This is what is said. Thus, the nature of the determination of the path has been clearly shown. It is a teaching on the truth. What is the teaching on the Three Jewels? It should be known that it is a teaching on the Three Jewels. The teaching on what the Buddha Jewel is is the aggregates, the elements,

The twelve links of dependent origination, the limbs of dependent origination, the aspects of enlightenment, individual correct awareness, supernormal knowledge, powers, fearlessness, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddha, etc., it is forbidden to combine them with the Buddha and all-knowingness. This sutra says that when one practices the Prajnaparamita, one should not combine form with all-knowingness, because even form itself should not be truly seen. From there, whatever is said about not combining with the Buddha and all-knowingness is (what this sutra says). It is forbidden to combine all-knowingness with the Buddha. The sutra says that one should not combine all-knowingness with the Buddha, because even the Buddha himself should not be truly seen. The Buddha and all-knowingness, Bodhi and all-knowingness, are considered to be of one essence. The sutra says, "Why is that? The Buddha himself is all-knowing, and all-knowingness is also the Buddha. Bodhi itself is all-knowing, and all-knowingness is also Bodhi." Showing from the perspective of the Dharma Jewel is to prohibit combining the aggregates of form, etc., with non-inherent existence, and so on. As it is said in the sutra, when he practices the Prajnaparamita, he should not combine saying that form is inherently existent, he should not combine saying that form is not inherently existent, and so on. Because the Dharma is free from attachment, what is said to show the meaning of being free from attachment at all times and places is that the Bodhisattva should not practice the Prajnaparamita for the sake of the perfection of generosity, and so on. What is shown is the removal of worldly afflictions. The sutra says, "By practicing in this way, one will remove as many worldly afflictions as there are." Among them, worldly afflictions are encompassed by ignorance and views with outflows. The Bodhisattva, from the root,

In order to completely destroy (afflictions), one engages in yoga. Although fully understanding the outflows of desire, one consciously takes birth in the desire realm in order to fully ripen sentient beings. Although fully understanding the outflows of existence, one also consciously fully grasps existence. Furthermore, a Bodhisattva should not be referred to as having afflictions or being without afflictions. Why is that? Because they do not universally engage in afflictions, they should not be referred to as having afflictions. Also, because they desire to manifest the wisdom of the Tathagata, and their intention is not fully complete, they should not be referred to as being without afflictions. Teaching in the capacity of the Sangha Jewel: Shariputra, that Bodhisattva, from other Buddha-fields, or from the gods of Tushita, or having died as a human and been reborn here, from the point of quickly engaging in this yoga, up to the Bodhisattva quickly manifesting wisdom, and so forth. Having taught about the Jewel, teaching in the capacity of teaching non-attachment: What is the body, from which body does the body arise, and so forth, up to not observing the body, and so forth. Teaching in the capacity of complete non-fatigue: the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, the aspects of enlightenment, the perfections, individual correct knowledge, powers, fearlessnesses, unmixed qualities of the Buddha, the four fruits, self-enlightenment, and not having pride in perfect and complete enlightenment, this is to prevent pride. This sutra states that when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, there is no pride in form, up to there being no pride in unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. Because without pride, one will become completely weary. What is the teaching on completely grasping the path? One also sees the Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly and completely enlightened Buddhas, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, in the different realms of the ten directions. One also hears the Dharma taught by them. Those virtuous
