In order to generate (meditation), it makes the body calm. In order to generate great joy through insight, it satisfies the mind. In order to cut off doubt, it makes the heart rejoice. Because it eliminates wrong views and uncertainty, it generates joy and happiness. Because there is no regret for practice, there is no suffering at all. Because it is the basis for the perfection of wisdom arising from hearing, it is to be fully known. Because it is the basis for the perfection of wisdom arising from thinking, it is to be distinguished. Because the teacher teaches the Dharma without concealment, it is completely clear. Because it makes those who have attained their own benefit rejoice, it is making rejoice. Because those who have attained their own benefit should rejoice, it is making manifest joy. Because it truly teaches the inconceivable Dharma, it is making fully known. Because it truly teaches the conceivable Dharmas, it is making discerning. Because it does not contradict valid cognition, it is reason. Because it teaches disciples according to what is appropriate, it is connection. Because it does not speak meaningless words, there is no fault of repetition. Because it makes all gatherings of non-Buddhists afraid, it is the power of a lion. Because the voice is vast, it is the sound of an elephant. Because it is profound, it is the sound of a dragon. Because it is worthy of being received, it is the sound of a dragon king. Because it is pleasant, it is the song of a Gandharva. Because it is sharp and terrifying, it is the sound of a Kalavinka. Because it is heard far away, it is proclaimed as the voice of Brahma. Because it is known to precede all accomplishments, it is the sound of a Jivajiva bird. Therefore, saying "sound" is to understand that sound is the characteristic of showing meaning. Saying "tone" is to understand its meaning. Saying "proclamation" is to understand the sound that follows that meaning. Because it is not to be surpassed, it is as pleasant as the voice of the lord of the gods. Because it precedes the complete victory over all demons and opponents, it is the sound of a drum. Because of praise, there is no affliction at all, so it is not arrogant. Because of degradation, it is discouraged.

Because there is no baseness, there is no lowness. Because all treatises on sound follow the characteristics of all aspects, they follow all sounds. Because there is no speaking forgetfully, there are no broken words. Because one always abides near the activities of those to be tamed, there is nothing incomplete. Because one does not rely on gain and respect, one is not timid. Because one is free from shrinking back, one is not weak. Because one has attained freedom from weariness, one is exceedingly joyful. Because one is skilled in all fields of knowledge, one is pervasive. Because one completely accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings, one is awakened. Because there is no interruption, it is continuous. Because one abides in various forms, it is related. Because various forms of sound arise from one sound, it accomplishes all sounds. Because from one (sound), one abides near in a way that various meanings are easily understood, it satisfies all faculties. Because one acts as established, one is not blamed. Because one skillfully coordinates with later times, one is unchanging. Because one does not speak hastily, one is not rushed. Because one hears equally from far and near, one is universally proclaimed. Because one transforms all worldly and transworldly meanings into teachings, one possesses all kinds of excellence, as stated by the noble Asanga. The twelve aspects of the three turnings of the wheel of Dharma. The wheel of Dharma is shown by things and non-things. This is the three turnings of the wheel of Dharma that have not been turned before: the noble truth of suffering should be fully known. The so-called "fully known," etc., for each of these (truths), eyes, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding arise, so in this way there are twelve aspects. Similarly, for each truth, three and twelve are in accordance with the Dharma, so it is said that there are three turnings of twelve aspects. For which sentient beings is the (wheel of Dharma) turned? It shows the prevention of those things and non-things, so that those sentient beings of the three times will completely enter into the realm of nirvana without remaining aggregates and be extinguished. Prayer!

Lapa. (Please tell me) Bhagavan, what is an entity? What is a non-entity? (The Buddha) said: Rabjor, two are entities. Non-duality is a non-entity. Thus it was said. The three kinds of renunciation should be known as the renunciation for a specific purpose. First, the occasion of the Omniscient One.
