And Sugatas, etc. Not attached, completely without fatigue, the path is completely held, and the eyes are known as five. Manifest knowledge, six qualities, and the path of seeing is called supreme. The path of meditation is the ten instructions. Thus it is taught. Among them, the instruction for practice is: Shariputra, when this Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Prajnaparamita, the Bodhisattva does not truly follow and observe. Thus it begins. The method of practicing without objectification is that the practice is unique to the Shravakas, etc. Therefore, this Jambudvipa is filled with monks like Shariputra and Maudgalyayana's son, like a reed forest. For example, it starts from there. The wisdom that completely fills each of the ten directions with realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges surpasses the wisdom of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who meditates for one day. This is a supreme teaching. Shariputra, if this Jambudvipa were filled with monks like Shariputra and Maudgalyayana's son, like a reed forest, a thatch forest, a sugarcane forest, a bamboo forest, a rice field, or a sesame field, what is the meaning of what was said? The four parts of determination, the path of seeing, and the path of meditation are combined in order. Like a reed, one cannot endure the small harm of karma and afflictions. Like thatch, even if one is threatened by the fierce karma and afflictions similar to fire and weapons, the stream of the roots of virtue is constantly unbroken. Like sugarcane, when one obtains another state of birth and death, one will be born in the happy realms, and the union of the continuous cessation does not depart from the sweetness of Dharma practice. Like an arrow shaft, because it pierces directly, it is the nature of realizing the path of seeing. Like a rice field, it is the supreme nature of the fruit of the realization of the noble ones. Like a sesame field, even if it is not different from things like flowers, it starts from closely taking how to make manifest what is seen.

Furthermore, it should be understood like the six similes, based on the power of the differences abandoned by meditating at other times. Why is 'grove' mentioned? It is to understand the differences in the types of differences, such as the faculties of other beings who realize warmth, etc. Even if many meanings are examined, one simile can lead to realization. The word 'earlier and earlier' is mentioned for a while to guide the meaning of the later and later similes. If that is the case, why is 'etc.' mentioned at the end? It is to guide the understanding that those noble beings abide in the bliss of seeing the Dharma. If that is the case, why are other similes not explained? It is to know the nature of the collection of various natures of those who abide in the bliss of seeing the Dharma. Furthermore, if we consider stating each one individually, how many similes should be stated? One will gain the inability to explain concisely. Here, the words are like this: As the Blessed One said, 'The monk Śāriputra is similar to Maudgalyāyana's son,' this is by those who have the same realization as the Blessed One said. If someone asks what is the meaning of the extensive teachings such as 'not even close to one percent'? This is the difference in number, the difference in power, the difference in kind, the difference in cause, and surpassing the simile, the wisdom of the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva is more excellent when meditated on in one day. Among them, from 'not even close to one percent' to 'number,' it is holding the undifferentiated number of the difference in number, and the other numbers should be clearly understood. Saying 'hundreds' etc. is to make the cause of understanding the undifferentiated number by saying the difference, and to know that it is only undifferentiated, so saying 'hundreds' etc. is to know that the order is numerous. Saying 'also' is the difference of dissimilarity. Saying 'count' is the difference of kind, because the kind of Bodhisattva's wisdom is uncountable. Saying 'cause' is the difference of cause, because that wisdom will not even become the cause of this. For example,
