Furthermore, "not approaching" means beyond comparison. Here again, from the perspective of how many Bodhisattvas is such wisdom imparted in one day? Is it the initial generation of the mind of enlightenment? Is it entering into practice? Is it non-retrogression? Is it being bound by one lifetime? Or what is the meaning of stating that "the tenth ground is the Tathagata himself"? Because of being close to the deeds of the Tathagata, that is why it is called the Tathagata, not because of comprehending the intention of the Tathagata. The third case is also not correct, because the eighth ground prevents the desire for nirvana, so their wisdom is far superior to all Shravakas. That is to say, O sons of the conquerors, you should understand, you should comprehend, if the Bhagavan Buddha were equal to those Bodhisattvas in the path of realization, then they would completely pass into nirvana at that very moment, just as he said. Furthermore, what is that nirvana? If it is said to be the nirvana of the Shravakas, then that is temporarily unreasonable, because the intention of desiring the nirvana of the Shravakas is to be completely abandoned for a long time, starting from the generation of the mind of enlightenment. If it is said to be the nirvana of the Buddha, then not abandoning what should be abandoned through cultivation, that is also unreasonable. In this teaching, there are many statements that can be established as complete nirvana. Here, for those who have attained the peak, it is complete nirvana from the cutting off of the roots of virtue. For those who have attained forbearance, it is complete nirvana from the lower realms. For those who have attained meditative absorption, it is complete nirvana from its limbs. For those who have attained stream-entry, it is complete nirvana from the eighth existence. For those who are once-returners, it is complete nirvana from the second existence here. For those who are non-returners, it is complete nirvana from the desire realm. An Arhat is in nirvana with the remaining aggregates and without the remaining aggregates. Here also, the excellent Lotus of the Good Dharma...

Having taken sutras such as the White Lotus Sutra as valid, just as great Bodhisattvas such as the venerable Shariputra are said to be completely extinguished in the manner of Shravakas, it should be understood that this is intentional extinction. Because until that time, the work of benefiting beings is postponed. Therefore, it is said that the cessation of the activity of benefiting all sentient beings is extinction. The second is also not correct, because what is realized from them is the opposite, such as it is said, "The stream-enterer, the wisdom of the solitary Buddha, and abandonment, these are the patience of the Bodhisattva." Therefore, the mind named by the term of the Dharma of non-retrogression, the initial arising of Bodhicitta, is manifested here as the Bodhisattva. Because if that is the case, therefore, the arising of Bodhicitta is first taught. If that is the case, Shariputra, what do you think? The wisdom of the Bodhisattva practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, starting from the so-called "one day of meditation," to the combination of completely liberating sentient beings, perfecting the six perfections, and attaining the Dharmakaya, which is summarized and taught, is truly liberated after realization, it is not reasonable to say so. Because those are the fruits of countless eons, not the fruit of one day of perfect meditation. If you ask this, here too, the analogy of the burning wick is used to answer the initial arising of Bodhicitta and the subsequent fruit. The rest is easy to understand and is not distinguished in detail. The key to practice has been explained. What is the key to the truth? What is the key to the Four Noble Truths? Among them, from the perspective of the truth of suffering, the combination of the aggregates, elements, sources, limbs of dependent origination, all dharmas, conditioned, unconditioned, and emptiness is taught. The sutra here is, Shariputra, for this Bodhisattva Mahasattva's form aggregate, if you are diligent in emptiness, it is diligence, and so on.

In terms of the truth of the origin of suffering, the arising, ceasing, defilement, purification, and the correct combination of phenomena such as form are all prevented. The sutra here is: If one does not correctly see that form is of the nature of arising or of the nature of ceasing, one does not correctly see that form is of the nature of defilement or of the nature of purification, one does not correctly see that form is the correct combination of feeling, and so on. These emptinesses prevent its own nature. The sutra here is: Shariputra, whatever is form emptiness, that is not form, and so on. These emptinesses and each other's essence are the same. The sutra here is: Shariputra, form is not other, and emptiness is not other, form itself is emptiness, emptiness is form, and so on. Therefore, this avoids the two extremes of superimposition and defamation. In terms of the truth of cessation, by preventing the arising, ceasing, defilement, purification, decrease, increase, and the three times of emptiness, it shows that the practice of engaging in the aspects of entering and returning to the aggregates and the noble truths is completely prevented. The sutra there is: Shariputra, whatever is emptiness, that is not born, does not cease, does not become defiled, is not purified, does not decrease, does not increase, that is not past, is not future, is not present. Whatever is similar, there is no form, no feeling, from ignorance there is no birth, to ignorance there is no cessation, to no stream entry, no fruit of stream entry, to no Buddha, no Bodhi, whatever is said. In terms of the truth of the path, the perfections, the aggregates, the elements, the sources, the limbs of dependent origination, and the aspects of enlightenment, etc.
