Because they possess merits and are numerous, the example is the one requested by King Clear. The Thirty-three Gods, etc., are the main deities for making offerings, because they are skilled in all arts and can do whatever they want. The Brahma Assembly, etc., are the main deities for making prayers, because they have the same share of detachment from desire as the worldly and transmundane, so they make other beings very happy with detachment from desire. Among them, worldly detachment from desire is Brahma, etc., and transmundane detachment from desire is the Pure Abode Gods. This is just a main explanation, it is not that there is no transmundane detachment from desire among Brahma, etc. Furthermore, who can show the three main deities who take what kind of view as the leader? Although no one can, these are established as the nature of the complete maturation of virtuous roots, are characteristics of dwelling separately, and the nature of dependent arising is taken as the measure of the nature of all dharmas. Among them, the Four Great Kings are the Four Great Kings family because they are their masters. Because they practice good deeds together, they are born together in the Thirty-three Heavens, so they are the Thirty-three Gods. Because they are close to being free from suffering, they are the Heaven of No Strife. Because they have gone and approached joy, they are the Tushita Heaven, which means having satisfaction. Because they are happy and enjoy the enjoyments that they have emanated and created themselves, they are the Heaven of Delightful Transformation. Because they have power over and abide in the enjoyments emanated by others, they are the Heaven of Controlling Others' Emanations. Because they are the retinue of Brahma, they are the Brahma Assembly. Because they are the retinue of Great Brahma, they are the Brahma Retinue. Because they abide in front of that one like a minister, they are the Brahma Attendants. Because Great Brahma is more superior than other Brahmas in terms of lifespan and color, etc., he is Great Brahma. Because other Brahmas have little light, they are the Gods of Little Light. Because immeasurable great light arises from them, they are the Gods of Immeasurable Light. They are accomplished from meditation with joy and are...

Like lightning arising from clouds and the like, it possesses a continuous stream of aggregates that mutually emit bright light, hence it is called luminous. Or, because the light of such a form illuminates, it is called luminous. What is called virtue is said to be the light of the body gathered together and unchanging. Because its light is smaller than that of the noble ones before it, it is a lesser virtue. Because they are immeasurably large, they cannot be measured, hence they are immeasurable virtues. They are virtues, that is, light universally arises and increases without omission, hence they are increasing virtues. What is called increasing is that everything is accomplished by meditation without joy, and having perfected its own entity, it abides. They are like a lamp inside a jewel box, the light of the jewel mixes with its own light, becoming one light and abiding, similarly, they appear to abide as if burning in a unified body. Because one cultivates detachment from desire in consciousness, there is only the aggregate of form that is manifestly accomplished, but there is no consciousness in it, hence it is without consciousness. Without clouds and increasing merit are easy to understand. In them, there is a great fruit accomplished by the power of meditation, hence it is a great fruit. Because it possesses the five aggregates, it abides at the very edge of the realm of individual beings, without the slightest harm, and it does not abandon its own place for even a short time, hence it is not great. Some consider it to be without desire, according to their treatises, because they do not exist in the lower realms, they are called without desire. Because they do not harm anyone, they are harmless. They appear to possess unfailing bliss and are extremely captivating, hence they are abundantly manifest. Others say it is pleasing to behold. Because the view is completely pure, and because it is able to see thoroughly, it is extremely visible. Because it is the peak of perfection, and because there is nothing above them, it is Akanistha, which is the ultimate peak. This was said by the venerable Copper Leaf. Others say it is limitless sin, sin is said to be the state that dwells in the mind, because they are the ultimate in completely destroying sin. Again, the characteristics of the detailed classification of this generation of the mind.
