Now, approaching closely, similarly approaching without fault, similarly approaching without conflict, and so on, it was said. The aspect of applying the opposing side that is incompatible with generosity, etc., is just as it is said: For generosity, establish complete possession, for ethics, establish holding onto broken ethics, etc., it was said. The meaning of the remaining Abhisamayas is easy to understand, so it was not distinguished. After teaching the instructions on the six Abhisamayas, the instructions on the path of seeing will be spoken, which was taught by the blessing of the Venerable Subhuti, it was said. From the mouth of the Venerable Subhuti, with skillful means, he himself taught the Prajnaparamita, because, in any case, it is said: Shariputra, this Tathagata himself teaches the Prajnaparamita to the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas with skillful means, this is not the realm of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, etc., it was said. Why did he teach through the mouth of others? Because others also attain that meaning and practice it, because one should not grasp oneself, for the sake of abandoning faults. Why did he teach through the mouth of the Shravakas? In order to know that he has attained mastery over blessings. Why did he teach specifically through the mouth of the Venerable Subhuti? Because he is the supreme one who abides without afflictions, because he is superior by being equal in the division of non-affliction, therefore he is the teacher who is in accordance with the path of seeing. Having done that, the venerable Subhuti, well done, well done! How the Tathagata declared him to be the supreme among the Shravakas who abide without afflictions, it is also said below that this teaching is also similar to his way. Among them, from the sixteen moments of the path of seeing, from the perspective of the forbearance of the Dharma-knowledge of suffering, the Prajnaparamita and the name of the Bodhisattva, as well as the aggregates, sources, and elements, each of those

Again, it is merely a designation, meaning, as the sutra says: "Subhuti, as the Tathagata says, 'sentient being, sentient being,' yet no sentient being is found in the slightest." All that is said, such as "Whatever is a dharma established by name," etc. That which is taught by way of understanding the dharma in suffering is that these are also examined, therefore birth and cessation are prevented. As it says: "Whatever is an established dharma, it is only a name and an expression, a designation, but there is no birth or cessation other than that." Alternatively, it is said, "It is established by name." This is what is said. If it is said that endurance is shown by following knowledge of suffering, it is said by separating each of the aggregates and so on, and the six feelings and six consciousnesses, that is, permanence and impermanence, happiness and suffering, self and non-self, peace and non-peace, emptiness and non-emptiness, having signs and not having signs, having aspirations and not having aspirations, conditioned and unconditioned, birth and cessation, solitude and non-solitude, virtue and non-virtue, with faults and without faults, with outflows and without outflows, with afflictions and without afflictions, mundane and supramundane, contaminated and purified, samsara and nirvana, all seeing is prevented. As it says: "When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not see form as permanent, nor does he see it as impermanent. He does not see form as happiness, nor does he see it as suffering," and so on, extensively. If it is said that following knowledge of suffering is shown, why is that? It is said that it is because of the cause of not discriminating all dharmas. As it says: "Subhuti, thus, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not discriminate or differentiate all dharmas," and so on, all that is said. If it is said that endurance is shown by understanding the dharma in the origin, it is said that it is contaminated

Because it prevents the characteristics of pure dharmas, it is called... As it is said: When he practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he thoroughly understands the nature of dharmas. Whatever is the nature of dharmas, it does not turn into all afflictions, nor does it turn into purity. Thus it is said. What is shown as knowing the dharma on the origin is that it prevents attachment to the aggregates and the six consciousnesses, so it is called... As it is said in the sutra: He understands the dharma made by name and language, so he does not become attached to form, he does not become attached to feeling, he does not become attached to perception, etc., as it is said. What is shown as the forbearance of following knowledge on the origin is that it prevents attachment by holding the Perfection of Wisdom, etc., and all emptiness, maturing sentient beings, purifying the Buddha-fields, skillful means, and not observing dharmas, so it is called... As it is said in the sutra: He also does not become attached to the Perfection of Generosity, nor does he become attached to the Perfection of Discipline, etc. Why is that? Because, like this, what is the one who is attached, what is the object of attachment, and what are the dharmas to be attached to, they are not truly existent. Thus it is said. What is shown as following knowledge on the origin is that by practicing in this way, the perfections are increased, and one enters the faultless state of a Bodhisattva, so it is called... As it is said in the sutra: Without attachment, practicing in this way, that Perfection of Generosity and all dharmas are increased, and it turns into the faultless state of a Bodhisattva. Thus it is said. What is shown as the forbearance of knowing the dharma on cessation is that one obtains the irreversible ground, so it is called... The sutra for this is to obtain the irreversible ground. Thus it is said. He abides in the nature of the unconditioned, spontaneously accomplished Bodhicitta.
