Because of the action, it manifests as fabrication, so that is fabrication. Because it exists, it possesses it. Because he accomplishes various merits, it is a foot. That is the meaning of being a limb. The so-called meditation is habituation, which is extensive practice. That is also the suitability of practice, or the practice becomes stable, or it is not mixed with the assembly of non-virtue. Meditation is also considered by the Dharmalakshana school to be of two kinds. Namely, the three kinds of small, medium, and large, as well as the fruit of being free from artifice, the fruit of being in accordance with the cause, and the fruit of dwelling happily in the Dharma itself that is seen. Others consider it to be four kinds, namely, the pervasive meditation of meditation is of the body, the meditation of complete taming is of discipline, harmlessness is of the mind, and the meditation of complete reliance is of wisdom. Dwelling in solitude, being in accordance with the first dhyana, therefore he is completely solitary from desires and so on. The so-called dwelling in detachment from desire is being in accordance with the second dhyana, therefore he is liberated from discrimination and so on, and from detachment from desire. The so-called dwelling in cessation is being in accordance with the third dhyana, because detachment from the desire for joy is cessation. The so-called complete accomplishment of abandonment is being in accordance with the fourth dhyana, and the formless realm, with knowledge as the precursor, because what should be abandoned is abandoned, it is called abandonment. Furthermore, completely destroying latent tendencies is solitude. Being free from all arising desire is detachment from desire. Completely cutting off all bonds is cessation. Completely abandoning all grasping is abandonment. Furthermore, the Dharmalakshana school believes that because of solitude, it is solitary from the realm. Because of detachment from desire, it is liberated from the desire of afflictions. Because of cessation, it is the desire for action. Because of abandonment, it is the abandonment of things, the Dharmalakshana school explains that all words indicate nirvana. Abandoning the previous support by the power of relying on the object is called abandonment, this is what the venerable Buddhabhadra said.

The divisions of the aspects of enlightenment have been explained. Here, the four antidotes to the four kinds of conceptualization that I speak of are the path of seeing. It should be understood that those conceptualizations, along with "dwelling in solitude," etc., should be applied in order. This is because the aspects of enlightenment are perfectly encompassed by the path of seeing. Among them, the antidote to the first conceptualization of the object of grasping is solitude, because it distinguishes the defiled aspects of the pure aspects, which should be abandoned. The antidote to the second conceptualization of the object of grasping is detachment from desire, because the desire for virtuous qualities is detachment from desire itself. The antidote to the first conceptualization of the grasper is cessation, because it completely ceases and abandons all grasping of self, independence, etc., this is its meaning. The antidote to the second conceptualization of the grasper is elimination, because it eliminates the various characteristics imputed to self, as well as the aggregates, etc., by fully knowing them as they are. Similarly, the five, such as faith, are faculties because of their function of dominating. These five themselves are powers because of their function of being invincible. Mindfulness, discrimination of phenomena, diligence, pliancy, samadhi, and equanimity are branches of enlightenment because they are branches of the path of seeing. Right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi are the eightfold noble path, which is the path because it leads to the city of nirvana. The eleven kinds of knowledge, including knowledge with understanding of the words, and the faculties such as not knowing all knowledge, and those with conceptualization, those with investigation, etc., and the samadhis, and birth, and death, and food that becomes the body, and drink, combined with mindfulness, and the ten recollections, and the meditations, and the formless attainments, and the ten powers of the Tathagata, and the four fearlessnesses, and individual perfect
