and are summarized together. Bodhisattvas practice yoga in order to thoroughly destroy those from the root. Although fully understanding the leakage of desire, they consciously take birth in the desire realm in order to fully ripen sentient beings. Although fully understanding the leakage of existence, they also consciously fully grasp existence. Furthermore, it should not be said that Bodhisattvas possess afflictions, nor should it be said that they are without afflictions. Why is that? Because they do not universally practice afflictions, it should not be said that they possess afflictions. And, because they desire to manifest the wisdom of the Tathagata, and their intention is not fully perfected, it should not be said that they are without afflictions. Teaching in the capacity of the Sangha Jewel is saying, Shariputra, that Bodhisattva from other Buddha-fields, or the gods of Tushita, or having died as a human and been reborn here, then quickly practices yoga here, beginning with that, Bodhisattva manifests wisdom quickly, and so on. After teaching the advice for the Jewel, teaching in the capacity of advising non-attachment is saying, what is the body, from which body does the body originate, beginning with that, not observing the body, and so on. Teaching in the capacity of complete non-fatigue is saying, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, the limbs of enlightenment, the perfections, individual correct knowledge, powers, fearlessnesses, the unshared qualities of the Buddha, the four fruits, self-enlightenment, and there is no pride in perfect and complete enlightenment, this is preventing pride, this sutra is, when practicing the Prajnaparamita, there is no pride in form, beginning with that, it is said up to there is no pride in unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. Because without pride, one will become completely weary. What is the advice for completely grasping the path? The Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly and completely enlightened Buddhas, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, in the different realms of the ten directions,

They are seen! The Dharma taught by them is also heard. Their Sangha is also seen. Their pure Buddha-fields are seen. All the pure aspects such as Paramitas are understood, and the state of non-objectification is made the object of wisdom. In this Sutra, it says: A Bodhisattva who possesses such wisdom sees the Tathagatas, Arhats, Samyaksambuddhas of the number of the sands of the Ganges River in the eastern world. He also hears the Dharma taught by them, and so on. In the instructions on the five eyes, the instruction on the power of the flesh eye is: Starting from a hundred yojanas, seeing the three thousand great thousand world systems is the realm of the flesh eye. This Sutra says: Shariputra, the flesh eye of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva can see a hundred yojanas, up to seeing the three thousand great thousand world systems. The instruction on the power of the divine eye is: Starting from the retinue of the Four Great Kings, he fully knows the realm of the divine eye up to Akanistha. Even the gods do not know the difference between their realms. The divine eye is the one that has the realm of knowing the death and birth of all sentient beings in the different ten directions of the world, as many as the sands of the Ganges River. This Sutra says: Shariputra, the gods of the Four Great Kings, up to the gods of Akanistha, the Bodhisattva fully knows what the divine eye is. Furthermore, the divine eye of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is not known by the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings up to the gods of Akanistha. Why is that? Because his divine eye fully knows the death and birth of sentient beings in the ten directions of the world, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, as they are. The instruction on the power of the eye of wisdom is: conditioned phenomena, unconditioned phenomena, virtuous, non-virtuous, with faults, without faults, and so on.

The absence of conceptualization regarding phenomena such as seeing and hearing is called the eye of wisdom. The sutra for this is: "By what means does the Bodhisattva's eye of wisdom perceive all phenomena, whether conditioned or unconditioned, virtuous or non-virtuous, and so on?" The teaching based on the power of the Dharma eye begins with "This person is a follower of faith," and continues until "The Bodhisattva sits at the heart of enlightenment," from which it is said, "For this one, demons will arise; for this one, demons will not arise." The object of realization for all noble beings is the Dharma eye. The sutra for this is: "Shariputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, with the Dharma eye, sees that this person is a follower of faith, this person is a follower of Dharma, this person abides in emptiness, this person abides in signlessness, this person abides in wishlessness. This person, having abandoned the view of the aggregates, ethical conduct, and attachment to asceticism, and having abandoned doubt, has entered the stream. Having weakened desire and aversion on the path of meditation, this person is a once-returner. Having abandoned intense desire and aversion, this person is a non-returner. Likewise, having abandoned desire and pride for the form and formless realms, this person is called an Arhat," and so on. The teaching based on the power of the Buddha eye is: The eye that is the path and object of manifest enlightenment into omniscience in a single moment of mind is the Buddha eye. The sutra for this is: "Shariputra, as soon as the Bodhisattva Mahasattva generates the mind of enlightenment, they abide in the vajra-like samadhi and attain omniscience," and so on. There is not even a little bit of a Bodhisattva that the eye has not seen, the ear has not heard, the mind has not remembered, has not directly known, or has not attained omniscience. As it is said: "Having realized the Prajnaparamita, all virtuous dharmas are gathered."
